I haven’t finished the video but I like how the guy said he has made 24k in a year but said he would be happy if you made $100 in your first week. This seems realistic I did user testing years ago before it was more popular and still remember only making like $60 but it was worth it back then because I wasn’t doing anything anyway and I don’t remember taking that many on so they must of been paying higher. I remember qualifying was the most annoying thing because a lot of times you just didn’t qualify and it really cut into your hourly wage. I would just keep the tab open and it would bing when a test came in. I have heard the longer you do it the more tests you get which makes sense because why would they want to pay you if they don’t know if you’re any good. Found this on their website. “UserTesting will allow customers that have signed the Minor Contributor Addendum to conduct Tests utilizing Minor Testing Contributors of any age in the United States, and between the ages of 16 and 17 if such individuals are located in Canada and the United Kingdom.” You can do it but your parents have to create the account and be with you when you are doing a test.

I agree that the amount of tests given are a bit bipolar but if you add in contributing factors like better reviews and going for longer tests then user testing sends you more tests more frequently I’ve done this for a couple months now and made over 8k so it’s a good ‘side hustle’ yet I think it’s very dependent on the user.

I've had 5 or 6 weeks in a year where I made $50 in a week (five $10 tests), but I average 2 a week ($20), mostly because I don't do the big dollar, video cam tests. Most tests reward $10 a pop, but there are short tests that reward $4. So this is side money I typically use for streaming services and savings. The bug you ran into with accepting tests, is not a bug, btw. It is first come, first serve. So if someone screened and got the same test you did, and hit "Accept" before you, you are removed from the test. Having a good internet speed helps in those odd situations (I have DSL so I run into this annoyance a bit more often). You can accept a test and get a 15min timer as well, if you need to do something real fast. But once the timer goes, the test is opened back up for others. So don't forget about it, if you qualify. Most of these tests are for websites/Apps. I've test a few flash/mobile games via Facebook. You sometimes will get organization cards to sort for new company websites and apps in design phases. And sometimes you're not even testing a site, they just want your opinon on things like caretaking, healthcare, shopping habbits, politics... Legal things to note: - NDAs. Google, Amazon and other big companies are more like to have you sign those before a test, and the odd HIPPA notices will popup on your health-related screeners. So do read those carefully. - You need PayPal for the test payouts to be sent to. You get them 7 days from the moment a test is finishined uploading to UserTesting. - Be honest in your screeners. If a reviewer determines you're not truthful, and informs UserTesting of this, you could lose your account and any pending payouts you may have for that week. And the final note: Refresh your UserTesting page every 30min or so. If you have a spotty ISP connection, you want to refresh your connection to that page often for new batches of tests to be sent to you.

But it is a lot sitting and listening for the new test bell. Most 4-star testers average 2-3 tests a week. So sometimes it can feel like a waste of time, getting a test. Patience is the key.

Hard to say right now as I’ve only tested one sidle hustle for the series. When it comes to skills, I’d recommend learning coding, video editing or some form of digital marketing and then getting a job in that field to gain experience. It’ll hard to find jobs that pay in crypto though.

One more question that I have. How is it possible that in the last 4 days after having the UserTest tab open for 12 hours every day, I have yet to get one test to complete? Money aside, which I don't really care about that much, I'm curious: is that a regular thing? From this video, you can see that you got at least one test in 4 days. I, on the other side, got 0.

Have you taken the practice test and are they still reviewing that? If you still don't have any in a few day contact them directly.
