Lamp black is what that type of black is called in professional watercolours (after lamp soot from oil lamps), so it’s actually very correctly named! And gamboge is also a common colour in watercolours. I am kind of impressed they named them with the actual correct names!

I can say from experience these Art kits never destroyed my passion for art. It was usually all I was gifted with as a child I had one uncle who bought me an expensive oil paint set with 5 tubes the rest of my art supplies were cheap crap. I managed. The water first then add the paint after is a wet on dry technique then there is a wet on wet technique where you wet the paper then add water again to the brush and add paint. There is a dry on wet technique where it is opposite the wet on dry you have dry paper but use more water on the brush then add paint. Hope this helps and i love the chaos videos there the best and makes me feel like im normal as this is what my everyday looks like 😂.

Hullo Anthony, I was truly lucky as I was taught by my Grandmother every summer, starting at age 10. I went with my cousins and even a couple of Uncle’s and an Aunt as my Gran taught us all watercolors! We were given a 6 color palette and 2 brushes and plenty of instructions! I asked for more brushes and paper on birthdays and Christmas! I even got a 12 color palette for my 13th birthday! Ok on with your childhood drama video! I am just going to say that your surface is so important and you should be using a different paper/surface for all of these supplies. You might want to give yourself a chance at success by using the better surface for each medium.

Around 11 minutes, ADC finally agrees with me (almost) (rhymes 😂), actually these colouring pencils are actually really nice. This particular kit is actually rather nice. Other children's art kit are actually NOT worth the investment. Remember you get to keep the case too. Love you, ADCArtAttack.
