for the tofu dish, i also like to air fry the tofu until it's slightly crispy on the outside (or to your preference) after slicing the top half like brick toast but not cutting all the way thru to the bottom and drizzling half the sauce so the tofu absorbs it and then pouring the rest on top once it's out of the air fryer and also topping off with chopped green onions! i love this dish because you can make so many variations esp with the sauce - i've recently been adding sriracha instead of the chili sauce :)

If I need pizza, but there’s none around (I live in a place where there’s no delivery of non-chain pizza), I make a pizza-dilla. Large tortilla, mozzarella, garlic & Italian seasoning, topping of choice (make sure it’s pre-cooked), more cheese, fold, press down, cook in olive oil, dip into sauce. Way better and faster than the pocket version.
@DamienDarhk-e7s2 ай бұрын
Yeah and the pizzadilla actually takes 5 minutes, including prep time 😂

For the raw tofu~ I usually cube my tofu and blanch it in boiling water with a pinch of salt, it puffs them up then I drain and pat dry before drizzling seasoned sauce on them. It makes them fluffy and I feel grabs more flavor from the sauce. Super tasty, learned it from my korean mum

For the first dish, you could use the pizza dough that comes in a can. I don't know if they have that in other countries, but in American the company pilsbury makes pizza dough in a can, like american style biscuits. Does that make sense. It would save on time for sure and not be as thick. Also, next time I would just use low moisture shredded mozzarella. You can load on the cheese. You will not get a cheese pull because they put a caking agent in the shredded cheese, so it doesn't clump. But you will have more cheese.

A tip is to use a thermometer to check the flour when heat treating it. Its to kill E.Coli. it needs to get to 165° to be sure that the bacteria is dead. Also be sure to do it in intervalls because it can get brown and lumpy😅 In some places you can also buy already heat treated flour.

I've made the first recipe multiple times, first you have to use either cornmeal or way more flower than that to prevent sticking. Definitely use more filling & yes roll it thin but olive oil & a pat of butter in a preheated pan on med low heat is gonna give you a beautiful golden crunchy crust & give the dough enough time to cook through. The inside of the will be molten & oozing & the crust will crunch when you cut through it

The tofu recipe is so good on it's own or with rice. You can also make holes with a metal straw or many cuts along the top, just don't go all the way through, to add more surface area that can take on the sauce. I've also seen people make this with hot chili oil sauces (like when you make the sauce for hot chili oil noodles).
@pixierainbow79 ай бұрын
Tina, you look especially beautiful in this video. The tofu and brownies look very doable. Maybe the pizza pocket would do better in small ravioli sizes and air fried. Lila's little voice is the cutest

I would put the pizza pocket calzone thing in the oven to make sure that the dough is fully baked through and not raw. So maybe about 15 min in the oven and then if you want more color you can still put it in a pan. And obviously more filling. A lot more.
