It should never have been a franchise, bhool bhulaiya 1 was already a great movie and they ruined it by milking it with unnecessary, cash grab, bullshit remakes with a knock off Akshay Kumar, sad but such is the state of bollywood.

CGI and VFX are a great tool if u know how to use it, even a director like David Fincher uses vfx to add details in the background of city shots like in Mindhunter and you'll never even notice it, you'll think there's no vfx or cgi involved in that show and everything is practical, now that's how you use vfx smartly

Bhool Bhulaiya first part is genuinely good with a fine balance of hilarious moments and effective scary scenes. Akshay and Vidya were so good in it. I didn't like part 2 at all and no expectations from part 3 as well
