I love that you haven't complained about being "stuck" in one country. A lot of other channels have devoted whole videos to how much covid has affected them and its so nice to see you two embrace all that comes!
@bdshort

I've been binge watching through everything and I don't think they've even mentioned Covid once (at least up to this video). Wonder if that's intentional, or they've just lucked out with it not actually affecting them enough to talk about it?
@carolinaparreira7685
@carolinaparreira7685 2 жыл бұрын
@@bdshort I would imagine it's a combination. They have been in quite remote places so maybe less affected but I also would say it's part their way of being - accepting things as they are - and part strategic choice to keep that out of their channel.

Sumptuous. In this video, there is all of Uma in a few fragments thrown at the lens of a camera. There is the cold that one feels just savoring the images, your intimate conviction that everything is possible by keeping in mind security, trust in the other one, these loving looks and so respectful of the one you love, this complicity that unites you... There are so many riches in your souls, so many desires to share other adventures, that we, poor witnesses, can only admire each wave, each breath of wind, each discovery on your part, and we remain thirsty and curious about your future. The images are more and more beautiful, between close-ups of frozen ropes, breathtaking landscapes, and particularly well-adapted music. We don't just watch, we experience sensations and colors with you. Thank you for your discoveries which turn into sweet and colorful dreams, where a smile reassures us and leads us into new worlds in our overly calm nocturnal dreams. Thank you.

Your editing skills, Kika, are the best advert for Skillshare. 20:52 "Take a hot shower." Something that jumped up very clearly to me watching this video is, I can usually never be bothered to watch b-roll in most KZbin shows/videos, but on this one, and Uma-videos in general, I almost always watch the whole video without skipping anything. I guess it boils down to the production quality that you put in to your videos. In most YT-"shows", b-roll is much more after thought and filler. In you videos it's so much more part of the story, and not "forced". And the ad-segment. Brilliant! (sorry, I mean Skillshare of course =D ).

You are a lot more responsible than me when climbing a mast! Just one tip I was given by a more experienced bowman : on the way down I always ask the person tailing the halyard to just leave one turn on the winch. It makes the climb down a lot smoother.

Being a “Old “ sailor I owned a 1980 Pearson 35’ shoal draft swing keel for 25 years. The layout is almost identical to the 36’. I did quite a bit of cruising and encountered many of the same mechanical projects. I totally enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!

If you ever find yourself wintering over, do your best to find a WHITE tarp next time. You’ll be much happier for it. Being a winter camper I can attest to just how much better life is when nothing is flavoured with a blue or orange hue.

Guys... this endorsement segment was a well crafted piece : from the writing, to the coordinated multiple camera angles, to the visual effects ( reversed glass), sounds effects (voices for the two kikas) .... it was a pleasant piece to watch.... sadly I can not say so for other endorsements seen on other sailing channels.... a well deserved thumb up !

I really enjoyed the commercial. You have a great demo tape there if you ever decide to give up sailing and be an entertainment personality. Voice, expressions, believability, cuteness factor of course, and timing. Did you write it as well, because it is very imaginative and well written?

Love these guys, and I have no clue about sailing and never been on a sail boat. They are just so clever 👌🏽😍

Unbelievable that neither of you knew anything about sailing when you started this journey in life. I commend you both💕💕💕
