That looked like a good feed. My local takeaway has a good lunchtime special. There are about 15 different options. You get the dish with rice, like yours, a dim sim, a spring roll and either a chicken and sweet corn soup, or a can of drink, for $15. I sometimes get it if I'm doing a few late shifts in a row because I can get 3 meals out of it if I get the soup!

Yeah, this joint is receiving some mixed google reviews ‘ere uh GregO but on the more expensive and ‘non-special’ fare when folk would be expecting way too much… let’s face it, these places offer up a cheap dirty Chinese lunch and at that price and fit for two sittings, as long as ya don’t get poisoned you’re right to go understanding the flavour etc. might not be up there with Longwang but fills the pot. I buy similar at my local Chinese for over 5 yrs now. I compare every meal I buy to that and for all around value and taste it just blows the others away. so, my rating is fck off fast food I will wait 20 minutes for a fresh cooked meal from an authentic Chinese restaurant. Yes, prawns in the fried rice too can't beat that $10.00.

It’s been a while since I had Chinese take away. Here in New York the beef seeks to always have a urine flavor that I never could get used to. The chicken version is more what I prefer.
