Poptarts aren't regarded as the tastiest treat in America, they just had good marketing and became iconic. I think we all agree that they're bland on the edges and sometimes too sweet in the middle, definitely look better than they are. Most of us don't even toast them or eat them for breakfast, it's a desperate gas station snack for me. Brown sugar cinnamon is widely accepted as the best flavor. 😁

I don’t like the frosting on top or the weird flavored insides. I also STRONGLY disagree with you saying the crust is to bland! The BEST FLAVOR is Unfrosted strawberry. Even as a child I never liked them. They're too dry and the pastry part has less flavor than cardboard. The hardened icing on top is okay but still not great, and the filling inside is sickeningly sweet and not moist enough to compensate for the dry outside.

So as an American, I can attest to the fact that, everyone, at some point in their childhood has eaten a Poptart. People can be very divided in their opinion about them. We also have Toaster Streudels and for awhile there was this big thing where you were either camp- Pop Tart or camp- Toaster Streudel. The holiday versions are always fun and I really like the gingerbread ones that come out at Christmastime!🧔🏿‍♀️🧔🏿‍♀️

American here and I do agree pop tarts tend to be very sweet (a lot of our breakfast foods are, like cereals and pancakes and such). But I also really love wildberry, hot fudge sundae, birthday cake, and brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts. Really recommend putting a little butter on the unfrosted side of the brown sugar cinnamon ones (makes it kinda soft and adds a salty flavor to balance the sweetness a bit), and putting the hot fudge sundae ones in the freezer and eating them cold (weird experience but it's pleasant texture wise).

Just so you know, unless you SPECIFICALLY ordered some US Ebay listing, the Chocolate Fudge (first one) and Frosted Strawberry are made within Europe, not imported from the US. That's also why it is much easier to find those two flavours for €2-4 cheaper than every other flavour and why they are so much easier to find (we have those two flavours in our local supermarket for example). There might be others as well, but those two I can say for certain.

As a kid, I liked frosted strawberry and blueberry and the s"mores flavor. I didn't eat them for breakfast they were more like a once-in-a-while treat. What I also liked and still do sometimes, is get unfrosted strawberry, toast it, and put butter on top, like a lot of butter, Freaking tasty as heck. I just saw unfrosted blueberry poptarts today which I haven't seen in a long time. Sometimes it's hard to find the unfrosted versions because they want to get the ones that draw kids in and also get new and limited-edition flavors on the shelves. Definitely try those unfrosted blueberry ones with butter and try and get the unfrosted strawberry if you can stand to buy any more poptarts lol.

The brown sugar cinnamon has been my favorite since I was a child. The apple one just makes sense bc apple desserts are so yummy.

my fav is the chocolate fudge, strawberry, and blueberry. They had a limited strawberry milkshake which i loved to eat cold from the fridge. Thanks for trying them!
