Video idea: I thought it would be pretty amazing if you would try to make a 2 tone piece or what to call it. What exactly iam thinking of is, when you take movie 3d glasses and look threw one of the colors, one image will be show. And if you look threw the other color another image will come up. Something that might help you capture that rasterized video look: buy a bunch of rolls of skinny masking tape, and after painting the wall black, apply the tape to it in horizontal rows with equal-spaced gaps in between. Paint your graphic over the tape, then peel the tape off. Finish it up with glow effects on top.

For the lines that go over the whole piece you could of used some tape to make the lines super neat and straight. Also I think adding a light glow coming from the ground up would help the hologram effect.

I recommend you use a fan cap next time and make sure it's pointed horizontally, would of made this much easier even a tiny pink stencil cap would of worked. You should defiantly get into trying out the fan cap because it really is great for filling in very quickly and creating curvatures which is pretty much like having a calligraphy pen (pilot pen). you are also getting a lot better with negative space management.

To make the lines you could have used masking tape before painting. This way, you can simply take it off and you have black lines across your piece. Good job otherwise, keep going!

The darker red gave the best hologram effect because is looked ghostly on the black background . Also , he should have done a hologram pad on the bottom with mist of red and some white for the hologram aura lighting omitting from the hologram pad and surrounding the piece . He put too much robust coloring in the piece making it look like a burner piece .

For the lines, I would have used a shite load of masking tape and taped off the whole thing and then gone to town with the transparent white. But that would be a lot of tape and time, not sure if that's a viable option.
