Yes, the original 25 years ago was the best! I worked for one of the Stores in the early 2000’s I used this stuff in my late teens through the end of my 20’s! I have great skin my 40’s and I think it’s due to using all bare minerals products. Unfortunately when I tired 32, I stopped working for me, they must have changed their formula because it felt drying on my skin. The original formula was AMAZING!!

I'm in my 50s and I use bareminerals. I'm not a liquid makeup kinda girl, never have been. But when I discovered bareminerals over 10 yrs ago, I was impressed. It feels so light on my face and I don't feel or have that cake on feeling. I absolutely 💯 💯 love this brand. I just can't do all that liquid make up, baking and whatever else you younger ladies do, but I definitely will do bareminerals. My skin is flawless no blemishes and I only wash with dove soap and water. Hydrate my face with the OG oil of olay the pink one. That is it. Rarely had pimples or blemishes. I just love my skin routine and wouldn't change it for nothing. Hope you continue using bareminerals, you won't regret it😊 sorry so long. Just had a lot to mention. I remember the Bare Minerals era and really liked it, but wondered what happened to it....lots of missed opportunities there for product gurus to regenerate new brands and products with the Bare Minerals Concept. I have been a Bare minerals fan for 10 years. I use the concealer to lightly set my liquid concealer and go over redness that pokes through my foundation. You can use the original powder foundation for the same coverage with more shades. 💕

Bare Minerals is the only makeup I ever liked. I am not a makeup girl and prefer a natural look. But they discontinued the color I used years ago. Buff it in and hit it with some setting spray and it melts into the skin.

I started using this last year after a year of trying it a couple of times and not liking it, it had a learning curve for me, but now that I mastered the way to apply it, I don't use anything else but this concealer and the mineral foundation on top. Love BM, my holy grails are Complexion Rescue tinted hydrating gel cream, this bisque on the video and also the mineral foundation. I'm 46 and my skin looks fabulous after 10 years off using these few products... Plus a good skin care routine, of course.

Back before they did away with outside sales reps, my mom worked as one. The company she originally worked for was a skin care company that the OG owner Leslie Blodget bought & combined with her mineral makeup, Bare Minerals. I had every color of shadow they had. This was all the rage in the late 90's- early 2000's. Was so lightweight & didn't make me break out. Still some of the best. Use the nylon foundation/ concealer brushes to apply the concealer & the kabuki brush for the mineral powder foundation. I feel my age now😅😅😅

@DeeMeg-gg2bn It's called Bareminerals Multi-Tasking Concealer. They also have an Eye Brightener which I use over the top of the concealer. I use this one like you would use a setting powder with a soft small brush under the eye. They work really well for me.

As a former bare minerals user in the late 2000s, their products are incredible. You couldn't turn on TV without commercials coming on for this stuff AT LEAST every 30 mins, infomercials were crazy for it too. It really was so good though.

These are old. I used to be a bare Minerals gal back like 17-18 years ago. I first started with the makeup brand called, "Sheercover" similar to Bare Minerals. Then I upgraded to Bare Minerals for a few years. I had many of their products. It does provide a natural coverage, and it gave me a glow. I like that it's very light weight but it doesn't last long unless if you finish it off with setting spray. You're supposed to move the brush in a circular motion (lightly). You slowly build-up coverage by doing it two to three times until you achieve the coverage that you like.

I used Bare Minerals through much of the late 90s and early 2000s. It does perform pretty well if your skin is young and very smooth. I did notice that it creased around my eyes and made them look older even back then, though. It also irritated my skin quite a bit, mostly shortly after application, and then I would have some residual redness or itching if I used it more than a couple of days in a row, usually followed by a small breakout.

Try the Matte formula not the original; it doesn’t have the ingredient that causes the itching. I know what you’re talking about because it happened to me as well, I’ve been using the Matte version for over 20 years and no itching from it.

I legit have been using Bare Minerals since 2003, the only concealer was Bisque, which I still keep in my makeup box. They now have Well Rested, which is great for brightening too. And you don’t “need” makeup bc your skin is actually beautiful and flawless, everything you put on looks amazing ❤

I’ve used this for the last 20+ years. I used it to cover my acne back in my teens and redness now. Use with their max coverage concealer brush, press/swirl the powder into the brush, tap then swirl it onto the skin clockwise AND THEN anti-clockwise.

I love BareMinerals. I’ve been using it for years. Honestly, I feel like it’s one of the most under hyped products. I have extremely oily skin and NOTHING works with my skin as well as Bare Minerals. I’ve tried so many different liquid foundations over the last few years but they all leave me looking like a greasy mess by noon. Also, I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. Other women will tell me I have beautiful skin. If they only knew. lol. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a lot of redness or rosacea. My favorite foundation, hands down!

Hopefully the brand has worked on the formulas to make them more melanin friendly. Back in the day I wanted so badly to use the products. Mineral veil was a specific item tht i hoped to use. However the ash/grey undertones and odd metallic shine didn't work for me.

I used Bare Minerals loose powder complexion products, (concealer and foundation), from the time they launched in the late 90's until I switched to airbrush in late 2018 and have always gotten so many compliments on my skin. I will be 50 in April, but when asked to guess my age, people always say 30-35 and are truly baffled when I reveal my true age. I 100% attribute that to good, consistent skin care, (I don't even take the trash out without sunscreen), and Bare Minerals powder complexion line.

Worked for bare minerals for almost 13 years! Yes it feels like powder but actually is minerals which means it will not settle in lines or look cakey like some regular powders will do. Also, it doesn’t irritate my eye lids and covers well ❤
