I'll echo people who praise this content! I like that you play rapid instead of blitz, and you explain the thought process behind every move. It's really informative! It seems very popular to play 3 minute games, which are also fun and impressive - but they are hard to follow for a beginner or intermediate player, because everything happens so fast. With these rapid games and your explanation, we can actually understand a bit what's going on!

Hey Alessia. I just want to thank you for all the effort on your videos, and all the knowledge that you are sharing. I reconnect with chess after around 20 years, used to play in school, and when came back I could barely reach 1100 ELO. I'm around 1650 now, which let me a lot of room for improvement but I want to believe I'm on the right track. I really appreciate how you share your thought process and balanced perfectly with a perfect sense of humour. Wish you the very best on 2024.

Hi Alessia... I HOPE YOU SEE THIS COMMENT. I want to suggest that you start playing 15+10 like Danya as it gives you more time to relay your thoughts without the fear of losing on time. Good job with the content!

hi alessia from quebec, where is your pawney haha?
@Dean_Winchester011 ай бұрын
Alessia you missed a brilliant queen sac in the last game where you could have taken the knight on e5 and then give a check with bishop rook covers then rook takes and it's completely winning
@sustainablelife360311 ай бұрын
If you're referring on 38:04 she actually does but the opponent doesn't need to take and just give check on a1 then the king will be force to move to d2 and suddenly it's a discovery check on king after pawn takes queen on e5 tho that would have been great if it worked
@Dean_Winchester011 ай бұрын
@@sustainablelife3603 yeah I just checked it out thanks
@benc721911 ай бұрын
Bro this queen sac doesnt work because of qa1 check and you king has to go in front of the rook then he takes the queen with check and you just lose a full queen
@valentinleguizamon995711 ай бұрын
Hey, chill, team! 🤨 Let's break it down for a sec. The queen sac might seem brilliant, but there's a sneaky check on a1, forcing the king to dance to d2. 🕺 And bam! Suddenly, it's a discovery check on the king after the pawn takes the queen on e5. 😬 So, before we drop those "you missed it" bombs, let's give a little credit to the opponent's counterplay. 🤷♂ It's all part of the chess dance, my friends! 🕺♟ Keep it cool and acknowledge the complexity of the game. 😎✨ #ChessWisdom #PositivityWins 🌈💪
