From this episode I personally understood why Abigail became a killing machine without emotions. It turns out she was under the control of a netzer star and Neus awakened cruelty in her. This was really important for understanding "we are the danger", "just so you know" and "begin again". And now it’s clear why she was normal in “poison”. "Poison" took place before the events in "begin again" when she became a terminator at the tournament

(KZbin removed this part from my comment for some reason so I'm rewriting it in short. Maybe because it was in bold?) Abigail is in some way related to Herobrine or his source of power (which could mean that his source of power is also a nether star). Here's what I found on the wiki page if you're interested: First of all (what mainly got me to look all this up) the glowing eyes and the short dashes. (Plus your reply) Both of these come from a skilled called "Electromany" (Electrokinesis on herobrine's page), under the users section of the page it includes both Herobrine and Abigail. Another example of the skill: The arrow she shot at 4:31 was created using electromancy which is one of its six (known) spells, specifically "Lightning Arrow". (Like the original commenter also said, I like this detail as well ngl). Second and last of all, here's some other cool stuff I found about this spell while looking into it: Stella is also able to use this, but most likely not the same way as Herobrine and Abigail can. Probably because she does this through her magic book. There really is a lot of cool stuff on the wiki that many people probably don't know so if you want to learn something more about these series I recommend going through it. Also if you for some reason thought it was a good idea to read a whole A5 page (in landscape) sized reply then I hope you have a great day (same thing if you didn't).

I'm more concerned with how she, Rain, and Stella will react if and when they meet up. From Rain's perspective he JUST moved on from her death and now he's finding out she's alive and might have to interact with her after everything. From Stella's perspective, the man she's dating is now meeting his ex after their relationship was ended for them by circumstances beyond their control. And from Abigail's perspective, she's now finding out that Rain, who she last saw getting turned into a zombie, has not only survived, but moved on without her with someone else, the 'feral demon' she was worried about no less. This is gonna suck.

Back in 'poison', Kane WAS warned by the nether princess about a demon witch, which we all know at this point is Stella, and I'm fairly obvious Kane knows that, too. Abigail told him that Stella would be a 'threat to all lifeforms if her power grows' or something like that, and Kane even promised her to stop the demon witch. Maybe, just maybe it has something to do with Stella? Perhaps Kane was trying to revive the nether princess sometime when she was 'ready' so she can stop Stella or something? @@multiTuturial curently pretty much everyone tries to take down Neus and yes, Rain, Stella and the Netherbane try to assemble all the end crytals and use thier power to do so. In the meantime the end is completly razed and the Frostborn fight a loosing war against the advance of Neus' armies to buy Rain's crew time. Now apperantly there is a rebellion in the nether atacking Neus from within and those were the piglins Abigail was with when she returned to life and apparently the Netherbane (or at least cane and the green guy) are working with them.

Beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely worth the wait. The ending, prologue, everything in between. The return of Abigail as the leader of the rebellion… couldn’t think of anything to improve it. Kane being the client was the cherry on top. Loved new characters. I’m ranting, but everything is great. I look forward to the meeting of the EC and the Rebellion. I'm really happy that the nether isn't so one sided as being nothing but destruction and evil, destroying the human race when really there's way more to it than that, treating the nether as dictatorship where innocent piglins are use as weapons to conquer other worlds and ruled with an iron fist, and having a rebellion that is against the dictatorship is really interesting and opens so much for the story as a whole, Great job rain! your writing has really improved throughout the years

A little theory: Kane is not as loyal and honest to Rain and Stella as they think he is, and he knows more than he's letting on. As I watched the Epilogue closely, something I noticed as being off is Kane sneaking out into the night, basically ALONE, and making sure he wasn't followed or spotted by his comrades. Why? Why take such a bold risk and a bold move? Another interesting detail is that Kane was also the mysterious client who hired the two Piglins (I dunno their names, forgive me) to retrieve the body of Abigail and get her away from the influence of the Nether Emperor. This implies that 1. Kane knew that the Princess's body could be found and recovered, and 2. That he knew the Nether Princess was being controlled, and knew that the control could be broken in some fashion. But... to tie it all together, the REASON I decided to theorize, was Kane's LAST words in the Epilogue: "No, no, no, you're not ready! This wasn't supposed to happen!" Now, all the comments I saw discussing these words all seem to think that these words are referring to Rain moving on from Abigail and their inevitable reunion. I think this is PARTIALLY true. The FIRST sentence was referring to Rain and his relationship with Stella. But the SECOND sentence, and also what Kane DIDN'T say? THAT is where things get... interesting. First, notice what Kane DIDN'T say. He didn't say "Abigail? You're alive?" or "Oh, look who's back from the dead. The Nether Princess". That is to say, he wasn't confused, happy, awestruck, resentful, sarcastic, or angry about Abigail being alive. He was AFRAID. Not for his own sake, but for ABIGAIL'S. Now, let's look at the second sentence. "This wasn't supposed to happen!" He COULD be referring to Abigail's Resurrection, or the fact that Rain's since moved on from Abigail, but I don't think that's the case. Notice how he said 'SUPPOSED to happen.' Not 'meant' to happen. Not 'This wasn't the plan'. He said SUPPOSED to. As if he has a PLAN for what is SUPPOSED to happen in this story, (When it comes to his own success and survival at least) and that Abigail's resurrection was a WRENCH in those plans. How can you make an intricate plan for a WAR without knowing all the variables? And how can one know all the variables of a WAR... without knowing the plans of BOTH sides? Also, what do we REALLY know about Kane and Ciara? They just mysteriously appeared after the demise of Herobrine, and have been cooperative with BOTH sides of the Minecraft war for some time now. What is their deal? Why Rain, of all people, did they choose to ally with? My theory? Kane had his own plans for the body of the Nether Princess, and is more two-faced than he seems. I think that once he gets what he wants, he and Ciara were planning to BETRAY Rain and Stella, using Abigail, dead or alive, as leverage or servant to their plans. Seeing Abigail both alive and cured from her curse may just end Kane's plans to reveal his turncoat nature.

You are one heck of a theorizer. And I think you are right. Also considering Kane has friendly contacts on 3 factions we met and interacted with EVERY faction for that matter. (The Frostbourne, The Piglin Kingdom, the Illager Outpost, ) (On End factions too but we don't know of the rest except Void Overlord Lance, the Nether factions but he was neutral before) And then he researched the Witchkins that were murdered in which Stella was a survivor. We are talking like 3 sides that are not aligned that he was friends with in the past and the rest he interacted with and only one was he researching He does play every side he can into uniting possibly. But definitely out of survival. Although Ciara talked about herself and Kane as undead, she might not be correct and Kane lied to her considering his reactions on Ciara wanting to kill the Nether King the several times, thinking she would die permanently. (It is clear Kane doesn't want her to abuse the invincibility or immortality that she has)

Thank you! Someone who thinks this way too... This end scene was meant to show how Kane seems to have an ulterior motive and a plan behind the scenes, maybe sort of controlling things in the shadows. He has little morals, following whatever can save his skin, (yielding to the princess, being a netherbane but working with piglins). It seems his shock is more bcs Abigail's early resurrection threw a wrench in his plans... Idk why lots of people think it's about how both Abigail and Rain aren't mentally prepared to meet each other again. Kane didn't even know about their past life together or how they met their end together ect. The first time Rain hears them mention Nether Princess he got a guilty/ secretive look on his face, so do we even know he told others about his past...? Especially when now Abigail is about fighting for herself and not being someone else's weapon. She's definitely a strong opposition for whatever scheme Kane is planning or using her for.
