First off congratulations of course (to both of you :) ). We just got our (rescue) pigeon (Sophie The Pigeon) a few months ago. She's doing very well now, and we're really hoping that she will be with us at least as many years as Noah is with you now :) We're having lot's of fun with her, making some fun content from time to time with her about her antics, we're take her outside to fly (on a leash because she's a non-releasable rescue) and much more, and are hoping for MANY more years with this lovely bird :)

As someone who owns 2 ring neck doves and one who looks like Noah. I can absolutely confirm this bird is as old as he is. I love my doves (although they are noisy birds) but yes, not the sharpest birds out there lol but definitely sweet sweet birds

So mine was already from a pet store and a few weeks old, so he never knew the wild. It would be hard to tame a wild one, but I get him out of his cage and let him walk around and he loves to just sit by me. Most doves will attach to one person, so whoever your dove is around the most, he/she will become tame around

I can vouch. 21 years old for a ringneck dove is not uncommon. My first dove lived for 21 years. I now have a bevy of doves. If any of your viewers are interested in very sweet, tame, trained doves, send them my way. Many to choose from. A sampling is found on my channel and anyone can comment there if interested or with questions about my doves or doves in general. I ship in the continental US. I can attest, these are the best birds to have as pets! Congrats to you and your sweet dove! PS, please give him more perches and some toys. They love to play.

My bird can’t stand any other perches or toys. I can’t get him to do anything other than sit in one spot lol. He’s a peculiar bird. He gets scared of toys and refuses to use any other types of perches. Whenever I get him out of his cage, he walks around mostly in the same spot ❤️
