Hope you enjoyed the video! Would you guys want a video about how much money do the rigs in my garage make and how much I pay in electricity? Corrections: - The dimensions for the shelf are larger in width, not exactly sure how wide they are but can be found in Rona Depot, Costco, and Home Depot. - The outlet for the PDU is named L16-30P but it should be L6-30R instead.

Thx for sharing but I don’t think your airflow is how you think it is. You need forced air on either the intake or the exhaust side (or both) to ensure proper circulation. The alternative would be to use convection by placing an exhaust (hot) portal high and directly across from the intake (cold) which you locate near the ground with your rigs in between.
@MiningChamber2 жыл бұрын
hmm due to pressure I can feel the airflow move the way I am visualizing it, but def your idea would be alot better, Ill explore more on that area and get it redone when temps get high!
@ollejansson8522 жыл бұрын
@@MiningChamber What he is saying is true. Intake = low position. Exhaust = high position. Also, if your ambient temperatures where you have moved are lower than the temperature you want in your house you can offset all your heating costs by circulating the hot garage air to the rest of your house if done right. (Does not mean it is hard to do). I have some knowlede in the area as i am studying to mechanical engineer. Really like your content. I have 5 gpus of varying models that i'm mining on :)
@lindasavage38782 жыл бұрын
@Stealther is spot on. Most common gpu garage setup is high mounted forced air exhaust fans combined with low mounted filtered passive air intake vents. GPUs are set up between the outtake exhaust and intake vents.

@vivianvaldi78712 жыл бұрын
Hum... just guessing : for the air flow I would try to play with the natural convection pattern, that is : exit hot air from the top. Would keep the open bay in garage doors & try to look over my head what kind of escape for the hot air can be engineered. With like intakes, industrial fans like RFC has, an then tubes up to the roof and light metallic chimneys. 27C right now, when it's 11C outside or like, add 15C and you get 42C inside... so, maybe some probs ahead, maybe. We had that kind of gear for the whole house in Detroit Grosse Point, some time ago. Just push a button, one big bay opens and a huge fan starts cleaning all the house air !

Nice vid! I have a question regarding powering risers after watching your ATX PSU video, since the dual 8 pin vga cable is capable of supplying 281W combined, that means that I can use a splitter on one of the 8 pins which will result in three 8 pins that I can use to power three risers right? Since the three risers can only ask for 225W maximum (75x3) and the three 8 pins coming from one strand is capable of providing 281W combined which means it would be safe. Is that correct?
