to clarify what u said on 17:26 in soccer the way players go from team to teams is by transfers which is where a team has to pay another team to have their players, but if a team wants a free agent then in that case there is no salary cap but instead its financial fair play but you are kind of right in the part where u said that u can just create super teams because u can buy whatever players u want with the right transfer budget

There's a funny story about him and Jordan in the VERY highly recommended book, 'The Jordan Rules', by Sam Keith. He (Sam) followed the team the year they won their 1st Championship. Hearing about the 'great shooting of Miller and Schrempf on the Pacers', not remembering that Detlef was in Indiana before going to the Sonics, descriptions of the old Boston arena, the struggles of players on the bench, what the Coach was thinking at a particular moment, etc. A 'Must Read' for any basketball fan.

There's no cap limit in football (soccer). It all depends on financial fairplay. If you're a team that does well domestically and in tournaments like the champions league or the europa league then you're definitley earning alot of money based on ticket sales, merch, sponsorships, prize money and player sales. However financial fairplay rules keep big spending clubs in check by making sure teams that are not slacking on their debt payments. They can't spend hundreds of millions of euros on transfers without making progress on debt payments

In soccer(football) there isnt a hard cap, but there is FFP(Financial Fair Play).The basic premise of FFP is to ensure that clubs were not spending more than they earned and, in doing so, prevent them from falling into financial ruin. So u can only declare a lose of upto $110 million dollars over a three year time frame.
