really hope the vid is helpful to some of you to make decisions on which warbonds to pick up. This vid took me wayyyy longer than i originally expected.. was gona just be a super casual chat about the warbonds but uh.. ended up in this 15 minute monster with a tonne of clips for every single weapon n item.. argh. Bit off way more than i wanted to chew lol anyway.. hope its helpful

Cutting edge is the best, every weapon is viable the plasma is the best "comfy" weapon for bots and blitzer is great for bugs with unlimted ammo and medium pen, shreds through bugs.

And I agree, every weapon. The sickle is a consistent rifle that does solid damage and doesn't suffer for ammo. The dagger despite the hate it gets is a reliable tool for taking out medium targets like devastators and is alright at killing shriekers. The plasma punisher is just a reliable weapon for anything. Kills good, feels good, nuff said.

The Flame Resistant armor has one specific use case that makes it super valuable, and that is fighting on planets like Hellmire. Those flame tornadoes are utter bastards when they all spawn around extraction, and being able to not die the instant they touch you is just such a good feeling.

Fire Resistance armor is hands down the best armor type on bug side because of teammates. Over 50% of the weapons mainly used against bugs now uses some kind of fire effect (cookout, incendiary breaker and all lasers including Rover)

One other use would be pushing forward while using the flamethrower, instead of having to move back (until they ruined the flame physics of course) Another thing I use it for is throwing a flame grenade at my feet when I am about to get dog piled by hunters. It actually works decent!

The Adjudicator is legit. It asks only three questions: Can you see your prey? Is your aim steady & true (crouch pls)? Is it smaller than a charger/hulk? Couple of my personal additions to the Honorable Mentions: - Viper Commandos: Bushwhacker secondary for those GET OFF ME situations - Democratic Detonation: Exploding Crossbow for one-handed, silent fab/bug destruction - Polar Patriots: Verdict secondary. Freeagle feels great! Nobody uses it but it is fun.

Nope, pretty much everything was horseshet when they launched and has gotten buffs afterwards that made them viable. The breaker incin and Jar-5 was crap at the start of the game as example

The first warbonds gave us more weapons and items that expanded loadout flexibility, versus the later warbonds that don't do so as much because those niches have already been filled. Also, the later warbonds have fewer weapons in general (our fault for complaining about the perceived flood of bad weapons)

I'd definitely argue Cutting edge as #1. Blitzer is one of the best bug weapons. Plasma punisher is arguably best bot weapon, and very good against bugs.

I just started playing not too long ago, thankfully the SC edition gives you the Steeled Veteran, with that and the standard bond nets you enough credits for 1 more, ill probably go with cutting edge.

If you're looking for peak physique armor there is a set that cycles through the super store. I'd save your super credits and get it there.

Should of meation crossbow and eruptor. Both can close bug holes, explosive, one can be use for stealth while other is super powerful but slow. If you bring stun generades you can bring either of those two as your primary.

The Dominator also cleans house on the bug side, not just bot. it will tear through hive guard, alpha and brood commanders, bile spewers and nursing spewers very quickly and will 1-2 shot hunters. its not as useful at lower difficulties, but at higher difficulties (7+, but absolutely at difficulty 9 and 10) where most of the enemies you encounter are medium armor, the dominator will tear through whole swathes by itself. but you will need a supply pack to feed it with its low mag and ammo count. I personally like to pair the HMG or Grenade launcher with the Dominator on bugs, and use the HMG with the Dominator on bots with a supply backpack.

yeh not a huge fan of it. I think its OK. I love that it kills scavengers and shriekers in a single shot and is really accurate at long range... but i would never pick it over the sickle. It chews through ammo way too quickly during normal combat imo

The tenderiser has higher DMG, less recoil and a higher fire rate against the adjudicator The only good things about the adjudicator is that it has like 1 extra mag and a higher penetration (those 2 things are not worth the 4x higher recoil, lower DMG and lower fire rate)

Honestly tenderizer is great for bots, it two-shots devastators in the head and has the precision and low recoil to easily make follow up shots, it's my absolute favourite

I'm not sure I would call the steeled veterans essential. Sure it has some of the best primaries in the game. But their are some really good alternatives for them. The granade pistol and the stungranade are definitely unique and the give a lot of new options to the game.

I ahve 2 warbonds i bought the denocratic explode earbon accidently bmand i have the truth enforces i bought it bc of the guns and drip but i am gonna grind creds tomorrow and idk which warbon i want i do want the cutting esge but i also want the steel veterans bc i need good guns that also wipes out enemys in 4 seconds

for me goes: CuEd: Sickle, Stunnades, PPunisher, Blitzer and u can run any dive with just them DeDe: Eruptor and GPistol are amazing, ECrossbow is viable if u running a slow support weapon and a fast firing secondary StVe: Senator and Dominator still strong options for both sides, BIcendiary lost a ton of potential last patch and eats ammo now FrFl: Cookout is now the best primary for bugs and also work for bots. the other 2 weapons will be viable after they fix fire dmg ViCo: Expiremental Infusion is a perfect 4th booster choice, Peak Physique armors, skull and beret helmet PoPa: Pummeler is amazing for bots if u tagging along and using BShield, Impact Incendiary nades are good

they killed the pummeler with the nerf, prenerf it was THE gun for the bug front, it wasnt overpowered or anything i dont understand why it had to get nerfed

I use the auto cannon to close bug nests, so I would take viper commandos over Democratic detonation.

ah yep i was thinkin i shoulda put that as a caveat.. if ur an autocannon or grenade launcher main it prob devalues the democratic detonation a bit for that reason

do you even play the game?? polar patriots is great! it's my favorite warbond and the p-113 verdict pistol is one of the most used side arms in the game right now. i never ever dive without it! it's hands down one of my favorite guns, period! the tenderizer is the best assault rifle vs the bugs. pummeler is fantastic bot control paired w a shield. the incendiary impact is one of the best grenades released. the purifier is very fun and effective, especially w its med AP, but its stagger is game breaking good! the arctic ranger scout armor is one of the best looking armors in the game w a great perk. you said viper commando n freedom's flame was only worth it for the armor, i disagree, but on your point, i just listed SIX must-have items from polar patriots, trumping your order. are you one of those players who ONLY dives w sickle, quasar n impact nades? seriously.

im the kinda player who tries every item in the game looking for interesting, fun, different ways to play and create effective loadouts... n then make videos about them. this video is about which items in which warbonds are ESSENTIAL and which are OPTIONAL.. its not really about "which are good n which are bad" none of those items in polar patriots are must have at all. As i said in the vid - i like all of those weapons (ive positively covered the purifier more than any other HD2 youtuber, and received a tonne of hate for a lot of that coverage), but i dont let my own love for it cloud my judgement... it aint essential for most players.

lol are you kidding me the verdict is literally the only reason to get this warbond now tenderizer is adjudicator but worse, you aint doing much w a light pen rifle pummeler became pointless when they nerfed it so it cant stun chargers why would you ever bring the incendiary impact over stuns or regular impact? its so weak it cant pop spewer like impact can purifier is a bad joke you gotta be trolling no comment on the armors, i think they are too bulky the booster is useless too this bond while not worthless is extremely underwhelming compared to the value of steeled veterans and cutting edge

​@@RogerNbrevery time I use the adjudicator it feels awful Like it has medium penetration but the durable DMG means that I have to mag dump all my bullets to kill like a single devastator and at that point why not use the easier to handle tenderiser to 2 tap the devastator to the head with its lower recoil

@RogerNbr I specifically listed where the weapons shine. I find the tenderizer shines bs bugs when using armor that doesn't have the recoil perk, such as scout. meanwhile I like the adjudicator vs bots while using the fortified perk for the recoil reduction. the incendiary impacts are great vs bugs. i specifically said the pummeler was great vs bots when paired w a shield, as it stunlocks bots. i would nvr take it against bugs, so dont care if it can stunlock a charger or not. the arctic ranger is not bulky armor, it's literally a reskin of the pg7 scout armor from default WB, just w a much kewler looking design (subjective). also, getting the most mileage out of any of this gear/warbonds is all dependent on how creative one is, if they can critically think and use their imagination to identify the weapons' role n use it effectively. the less of the aforementioned attributes one has, the harder time they are going to understand all the gear and where it fits.
