I Upcycled My Fabric Scraps into a Stunning Quilt Block in No Time

If you are just planning to take up patchwork, these are the blocks you should start learning with. They are very easy to sew but the designs come out very beautiful.
Cut: Orange fabric: 4-1/2" square
blue fabric: 2-1/2" square, 2-1/2*4-1/2" rectangle
pink fabric: 2-1/2" square, 2-1/2*4-1/2" rectangle
yellow fabric: 2-1/2" square, 2-1/2*4-1/2" rectangle
dark blue fabric: 2 2-1/2" squares, 2 2-1/2 * 4-1/2" rectangles, 2 2-1/2 * 6-1/2" rectangles.
Sew with a 1/4 inch seam allowance.
Finished block size 10-1/2"

É difícil calcular com precisão o consumo de tecido. Porque uma colcha tem muitas costuras e, via de regra, tem mais de um tecido. Eu sempre tomo mais.
