The catling gun is full automatic, but it is a bit slow that way. It shoots much faster if you keep clicking like semi-auto. Definitely a great gun

Also the Glacial area after the coral reef will be a massive increase in income. Tons of large fish worth multiple-thousand $ each. Just make sure you upgrade your airtank to the next version to give you more time. I'm making between 40-70k in the glacial area. And another +50% if you watch the ad afterward

If you switch characters to the Corgi it makes fish swim toward you (not jellyfish) makes it easier to get airfish
