I opened a rb store 2 months ago and only put 9 designs up and didn't touch it because of time constraints. I had a look the other day and realised I had sold one of my designs on a poster and made a profit of $8.22 AUD. Cheering. No social media and none of my friends and family know about it. Thanks for the video.

I guess this proves what a lot of people don't talk about in digital/POD - quality not quantity. No shade on what you did; no one's going to be able to do that much content in that short a time span and not keep it very basic. But these videos often seem like an example of what not to do for me; churning out content to milk the machine won't work as well as having creative substance to contribute.

New Subscriber here! I'm currently working on my RedBubble store and getting more designs up.. also just started on Zazzle! I think RB is a rough market. So many spam taggers, and so many copied designs☹️But I figure the more options I'm using, the better for selling, so I'll keep the RB. Also, I think some people don't understand 'passive income'. If you put the designs up, they can sit as long as the platform is up, and you may make sales years down the line!

You are maxed out at 60 uploads per day (regardless of how many shops you are running) and this is in the terms. The only things that Flag designs for review is words that are on an unpublished list of protected terms which are related their partner programs. It could be as simple as EMOJI which is one of their partners. This is like how we use Kleenex to describe facial tissue but it is actually a trademark name. It is a complete drag because they tell you the design is approved but then say they may alter that decision at any time.

That's nuts. Less than sixty dollars after 6 months... How do you justify any of this? What about all the time you spent making the designs? I appreciate so much this video because it shows how much people get misinformed by the hype of "free webshop" Gurus.... is not free or easy at all you need to have good designs, a good niche, and promote and invest in advertisements if you want any result whatsoever. I realise this video is a year old now, but I think it serves as a useful reality check for anyone considering POD. There's an abundance of influencer videos out there promoting the idea of massive earnings, thousands of $ per month and while that might be true for a tiny majority - perhaps with the necessary funds to run ad campaigns and other promotional strategies, the reality for most is the earnings amount to just a few crumbs. My own experience from 400-odd designs is 6 sales in 3 months. It could be argued that if sale are not happening the designs are not good, or just not trendy enough, or you haven't found the right niche - well maybe... but that then also highlights another issue - the difficulties determining what kind of designs will be popular and what so-called 'niche's' are actually likely to sell.
@persebra2 жыл бұрын
red bubble sounds like a crazy waste of time for most folks. of the two other KZbinrs, I saw talk about red bubble. one had 10k designs listed, and the other 30k designs. you have to do an insane amount of work.
@YouTubeShorts_Padre2 жыл бұрын
POD can be a very profitable business. If you have money already saved to run ads or hire an influencer to promote your pod site. If you just try to do the SEO free traffic way good luck. You won’t be able to leave your day job anytime soon. Payouts suck with pod.

I opened a Redbubble account and after loading three designs my account was closed. I asked them why, but they said that it didn't comply with their rules. @thestitchingspace Жыл бұрын
You can adjust your profit margins for each product, yes, but if you go too far outside it I think it would impact sales. While the profit margin is horrible, as you said, it's basically a leave and forget passive income. I've had my Redbubble store for about 3 years, and ignored it for 2 years until recently, and was still making between $20 and $190 per month, mostly closer to $20, but I did nothing for that income, so I'll take it!
