You really know how to bait your target into a bad position. You show us there's more to kiting than just holding the back button. I use a similar weapons config on my AC inspired by you and consider you the source of my kiting style.

Nice AC and piloting! I run a similar build with VPM+703PM, VP-44D head, and ALBA arms, but might make some tweaks based on your video. Do you notice a big difference between TALBOT and WLT FCS?

Thank you and yes. I’ve used Talbot since release on my main AC and even after the buff , I would still use WLT over Talbot on kite builds personally. due to the fact that WLT has more range so you can break TALBOT fcs lock on which makes them have to chase to get the FCS to re lock onto you while I can apply pressure the entire time and my fcs stays locked on. I’m open to being wrong but that’s just my personal take 😎

I've been using lam legs nacht core and arms veral head and double lazer shotguns with some missiles. I still get wrecked by kites and missile rats but I can go toe to toe with zim shield atleast

My brotha is back! I play maybe 5 ranked matches per week total, some weeks none, so it'll take me a while to ever get enough points to get out of A rank 😂 I don't care though, I've beaten as many S rankers as I've lost to them. I've nothing to prove. I've been using ETSUJIN with the HARRIS lately. I started off with dual RANSETSU RF. What are your thoughts on the practical advantages (e.g. in practice and not just numbers) of RANSETSU/ETSUJIN over HARRIS/ETSUJIN?

@@calangel I feel you bro. Rank means nothing. I play with the mindset of “let’s just put our death machines to the test and may the best pilot win 😎.” Harris is definitely the better pick if you have the en cost and weight load to spare. The range and stagger on the Harris is NASTY! I just love my Ransetsu too much 😂

@brothadahkness it seems that way in practice, though, doesn't it? The thing about the HARRIS/ETSUJIN combo is that you need a certain amount of recoil control to make certain that no matter where in the shot cycle either weapon is in that it won't cause wild shot blooming. ETSUJIN and HARRIS can bloom wildly if the recoil gets out of control and the HAL arms are the lowest recoil control we have that will stop all blooming in all scenarios with that combo. FIRMEZA is close, as is EPHEMERA...sorta. That's where the advantage of RANSETSU is, I think. Far more flexibility in arm choice (and build in general) due to EN cost. Another bonus is that within 150m, it will beat the HARRIS in DPS and IPS.

@brothadahkness what I really wish is that they would fix the damage/impact ratio on the CURTIS. The impact is out of wack with its damage (compared to RANSETSU and HARRIS). Maybe that was their intent. If it wasn't the case I'd use the CURTIS whenever the EN was too much for the HARRIS.

@@calangel definitely a good analysis. I feel with Etsujin Ransetsu it my fav. Ransetsu with Harris is really good, but doesn’t fit my mid range aggressive playstyle. I don’t like just holding backwards and kiting 😂

Great vid and I respect your piloting ability. But these builds you are fighting are a long shot from what the HARD META is on Xbox. Hyper lightweight kite IS THE HARD META right now. It actually drives me nuts as to how mant kites there are on ranked, and every build has to be prepared to deal with them.
