Yes, it's been eye-opening to see how much maintenance a relaxed, chic short cut requires. I think it also looks nice before the touch ups, too. The shortest I've cut my hair is shoulder length and the majority of the time I've kept it waist to tailbone length. When I was relaxed, I did my touch-ups at home every 6 to 7 months. Now I have natural tailbone length and keep it in a bun or one braid most of the time because I haven't really tried to figure out a good curly routine yet.

But before you start the process make sure the neutralizer is included because some relaxer kits don't include it. I would hate for you to begin and you don't have the neuraling shampoo. 😢
