I can explain. The acidic mixture gets applied to spikes itself. Every spike gets it. As long as the spike factory has the effect. Like so tewtiy can see.

8:10 the reason why he got the acid pool is most likely because the AI was made before the update where they switched around the faster throwing and acid pool. But if that isn't enough evidence the AI is also using the EXACT strategy that everyone did back when the faster throwing was the second upgrade on the bottom path. Edit: Acidic mixture dip DOES make the pspike be able to pop leads permanently

I think that the acidic mixture is for the spikes placed during the buff

13:14 When you apply the acidic mixture dip onto a spike factory it makes all the spikes made in that period pop leads. Even if the buff is not on the spike factory the spikes produced then will still pop leads, but not the spikes now, cause the buff is not there. But, the top cross path for perma- spike will allow it to have +40 pierce, making it 90 pierce, buffing it’s damage by around 80%

you phrased it wrong and missed something, not only does the alch buff effect perma spike's damage, it makes it MUCH BETTER (500 damage to 700, 10 damage and 50 pierce to 11 damage, 54 pierce, and 18% more attack speed), and with the perma spike's slow attack speed it can let the alchemist have 100% uptime, also the middle path gives a better synergy with alchemist, if only a little better, in other words: with alchemist, the perma spike can always hit leads and is a lot better

Unless this has done thousands of repeated tests to come up with that strategy, then I doubt it's an AI. Plus, I don't think there's anyone who would make an AI player for Bloons and release a version that just so happens to have the solution. It feels more like someone recorded their successful CHIMPS run using macros so that way you can get a consistent run using that popular strategy.

Also, to answer your question, yes, because the spikes are a projectile, and that’s how AMD works. It gives every projectile LPP (Lead Popping Power)

Funny part about this is there's no AI involved in this it's just a preset of controls predetermined and it's just played back in a file that is converted to mouse and keyboard movements and presses pretty common you can do this with your average mouse software if you wanted to that's if you have a specific gaming mouse not all of them can do that.
