in my opinion no client is best because adding your own mods is superior. also the mods that you dont use also lower your fps because they have to be loaded. its also the experience i had with lunar client that was bad for example the mod menu was too big. i also noticed it didnt boost my fps all that much. feather client is decent but in my opinion its best to add a few optimization mods like sodium and add the built in mods you used. i also dont like lunar because the versions are very limited and only has like 7 version while prism launcher has like hundreds

I see where your coming from in terms of customizability doing your own mods is defiantly better but for people that don't know how to do that having a base client like lunar, feather or badlion really helps people with less optimal specs
