For the billet I would recommend to hold on until you get to liyue since for your current characters you seem to already have pretty fitting weapons. (Especially Stingless for Fischl and Favonius for Diona). Or you could get the catalyst billet for Mappa Mare. Sucrose would benefit if you craft Mappa mare but you need Liyue materials for that weapon. Unless you also count the Liyue weapon domain to be part of Mondstadt (since it is technically shown on the Mondstadt map). And you could also buy the other materials from the Star shop. So yeah either wait till Liyue or get the catalyst billet. Also if you decide to pull for Eula you can get her F2P weapon from a Dragonspine quest!!

You can select the claymore billet for the Dragonspine physical claymore for Eula or Razor.

Hello, hello as a fischl main, heres some ways you can use her: ATK% weapon with EM and ATK artifacts, so she can do physical and elemental. (I have em fischl with ATK) Best weapon is Stringless for EM, Early game, 4P berserker. Or 2P atk 2P berserker. and shes flexible build wise! She is good electro support, Elemental reaction dps, and phys dps. And Talents I'd go Skill, and normal ATK :D idk if this will help, I just like to think I can

I am curious, does you going to other regions mean you can just do the archon quest and explore etc; or does it mean that you can do that and also level characters from mondstadt who need liyue mats such as Amber or Diluc who needs the pyro flower but are from mondstadt.

Yes he cannot use Characters that use liyue ascension mats since he cannot got liyue as part of the challenge. That's why he did not want to wish on the Noelle banner nor he wished for Mika.

Because Barbara requires drops from the Oceanid, who is in Liyue.
