I agree because I bought these products and I have a looser curl pattern and I agree with what she was saying. The products were not for me (I tried all of them) I like her first line that came out though. I know everyone's hair is different, but I feel like all the other reviews aren't being completely honest.

As a minimalist and a boomer, I keep it simple. Ignore ALL "celebrity" hair lines. *Less products + less manipulation = maximum hair growth* African black soap is my shampoo for hair and body. Vaseline is my hair and facial moisturizer/sealant Hair is tailbone length at 60.

Ur not wrong about the way that tab wears her hair. That’s why I was hesitant to buy the gel because her demo didn’t look like it would define my 4a and b hair and minimize frizz. Some girls don’t mind and like the full, puffy look but me and my curls like for every curl to be formed so it lasts because of the hold and doesn’t tangle as much. Thanks for always being honest and real ❤

The crazy thing Is I used to follow her from the very beginning when she had five followers !!!! 😅 and I remember how fine and soft her hair used to be. She had very loose curl and loose waves, which was beautiful. She started to wear her hair in wash and gos, which was beautiful then she went on to afros which she famously called "Donna". I think a lot of people think that Tabitha's hair is thick but it's much finer than you would expect with looser curls. I saw one picture of her when she wore her hair straight and she looked just like Lark Voorhees from back in the day. That's how straight her hair is. So I'm not sure what's up with this line, I didn't try the first line in the pink bottle and I won't be trying this one either. But all I know is that the whole family has very fine wavy hair especially her daughter Choyce.

A few people asked me to try the original line and I opted against it. I decided to try a few products from this one instead. Overall, I never knew who was Donna. 🤧

I actually like the products and my coils are very tight. They provided a soft hold. I also don’t do second day as I wash and restyle my hair everyday. So I can see how this won’t work for those who don’t restyle everyday.

I thought you were going to try the relaunched Mo Knows Hair products.🤔 Your money would have been better spent on items from Mo’s collection. The gel is a medium-hold gel but the results are wonderful. Make sure you purchase (at minimum) the scalp clarifier, restoring treatment (i.e., hair mask), curl primer, and defining gel. I’m looking forward to how my hair will continue to thrive with each use. 😊

Linda we appreciate your honest review. I never use creams as a styler for this exact reason. My hair requires a defining gel or custard that can hold it as I’m not an Afro or big fluffy hair girly. We love tab but unfortunately creams don’t work for everyone. TYFS

It’s like a build up of all the years of ‘soft hold’ girls pushing out one bad product review after another for any product that had actual hold--instead of just using the soft hold product that was already in the line 🤷🏽‍♀️ Now every company is scared of hold smh. All while advertising it to be more moisturizing, but that’s hit and miss too because humectants are tricky when you’re dealing with multiple climates. Make hold great again. Make moisturizers great again. Then just formulate them not to flake on each other like the good ol days.

It's definitely soft hold products. I loved the slip. I had used the leave in underneath which probably effected the hold for me. But I think as a twist out they may work better. My WnG had definition but didn't last as long as other products I use. I did sit right under the dryer afterwards which gave me some hold once set but still not enough hold to hold my WnG for the week.

UPDATE: I’m back because I wanted to see what other people were saying when I saw a promo video by Tabby herself demo’ing the new products. Now, Linda Lynn. Did you see that video!? Because her hair is NOT how we (you and me) would want our wash n gos to look. We would say her finished hair looks a mess. I hate to say it but your hair is giving exactly what hers is giving in that thumbnail. 🤣🤣🤣

Neways the eczema for the kids !!!! My son had it BAD my daughter now has it too. My neighbor shared with me years ago to wash the area with dandruff shampoo , follow up with cerave lotion , followed by some vitamin e oil , topped off with aquaphor. Does the trick every time !!
