I’ve used the daily incense everyday since it first released, never missed a day, ever. And with all events where you’ve been able to make it 30 minutes, I always choose that. And I’m still yet to even SEE my first Galar bird, let alone catch one.

I see galar birds roughly twice a week. I caught one zapdos. I have found that the best time to use the incense is between 7-8am and 6-7pm. Also windy weather increases the chance of them spawing. Not sure if you've tried those times yet. Hope that helps.

So, he used incenses for 30 days, some of those days they lasted double time (I didnt count, but im guessing 10 days of doubled time?), so you could say this depicted a total of 50 days using incenses, and 3 bird encounters, so it averages out to 1 bird every 17 days (keep in mind he was always walking at a fast pace and used golden razz and ultra ball to optimize his time). These bad boys are rare af holy crap

There was only a couple days where his incense was doubled and that barely even mattered since there were also a handful of days where he didn't catch anything at all, if you make it more accurate it's about 1 every 10 days which makes sense because the actual bird spawn rate is 1 in every 100 - 300 spawns

Some day I might sit and actually note down how many pokemon he caught exactly each day and try to pin point the odds of a galarian bird in a spawn (tho the sample of 30 incenses is probably way too small to get a relevant value)

Tip for people who want similar results walk fast / power walk. once you catch a pokemon another will most likely of spawned, because you have traveled far enough from the last spawn. Good luck 👍

I think the trick is to just not expect sth out of it, I caught Galarian Zapdos last year and 2 days ago a Galarian Moltres (both about 1400 Cp) I only hit a great on the moltres but critical caught it, was insane couldn't believe it! But also I used the daily incence for months, I think atleast half a year and the encounters are rare ( I met about 9-10, but only caught 2) So I think you just shouldn't expect much from it and then just get surprised by some cool spawns. Good luck out there to y'all who use the daily incence, im on the hunt for my last galarian bird (the articuno) but ofc Ill try a golden rasp and hyper call with a best throw I can do to catch whatever galarian birds spawn :) shinies might even be rarer (only got like 7 shinies until today)
