As far as being repetitive, I just prefer the larger environment and choosing what to do and where to go more than small maps and very linear gameplay. A lot of people get bent out of shape for differing opinions. Different strokes for different folks. Not personal attacks.

Yup. Noticed my second game today. First game is just usually daily challenges and if weekly line up . Been lucky for a week to work on tier 3 calling card challenges and now I am on hold until the new "broke" weapon comes along then we have 4 to 7 days after the first 15 "op weapon" videos.

I like MWZ, but T3 feels bugged for me when I'm soloing. T3 Zombies don't drop any ammo or armor for me, unless I'm in a party. It's very frustrating when a horde is on your and you run out of ammo and you have to run to the T2 and the first zombie I kill drops ammo and armor.

To argue with what you said about round based, MW3Z is like all zombie modes of a game into 1 mode. It has all the wonder weapons jammed into a single mode, as well as the easter eggs and bosses, you just choose the route that you want to go, like an rpg. As a mode, it is amazing, the game just needs more modes. I have played every single cod zombies out and my only nitpick with round based modes is the endless part of some of them, I hate that if you get to say round 200, your whole game became useless because no matter what weapon you use, zombies get to a point of invincibility, so you have to throw all your work away by dying, bittersweet victory? My fav one was cold war because of the implementation of being able to extract. Gives a sense of completion.

What I think would be interesting would be if there was ONE contract that looks like a normal contract, and can appear in any tier, but if you pick it up it auto spawns a worm. Not as hard as red worm, but a worm. And the whole lobby is notified that it spawned. But killing it spawns a portal that takes you to secret dark aether that has a boss harder than redworm. And unlike the normal redworm, only the team that kills this other worm gets the rift. Devs should call me

Honestly I see the merits of both round based and MWZ personally MWZ got me back into playing zombies after long time and made me go back and look at the old story from last one. That being said MWZ type set up does need work but I wouldn't personally mind seeing both come back and maybe shuffle things around little. It is sad see so many people fight over something we all equally enjoy hopefully black ops 6 finds middle ground for everyone :c

Already been stated that incendiary is nerfed. Tier 3 still crowded though. I don’t know what’s meta right now or if I just got used to the OP rounds. But all the guns I’ve tried just feel like pea shooters. Pack 3 legendary with ammo mod and I run through nearly my entire reserve of ammo on bounty contracts. Especially megas. Red worm with 4 teams (roughly 16 people) and it took an unusually long amount of time to defeat. I think they nerfed the weapons a little too far unbreaking those rounds. 🤔

It's hard to compare one iteration of mwz contract-based title (it's one of its kind for now, with only one map to play on) to multiple versions of round based game titles with their own multiple maps. Repetitive game play isn't the issue, I think. After all, in multiplayer, people keep playing and coming back for the same experience over and over again, too. Also, any game with level progression is repetitive and repeating the levels to reach the next one is the point. Nonetheless, after reaching the final level, it loses its luster. In round based, the boring part is the beginning before you get points to buy upgrades, then, after you peak with your level progression and achievements, it's not so much fun anymore. In MWZ, the boredom sets in after you complete all the missions and obtain all the schematics. In round based, actavision tries to entice you to keep on playing by adding new maps with new progression and new Easter eggs. In MWZ, they haven't done it so far - no new map. Instead, they did it only with new schematics and, to certain extent, with the new DAs (on the same map, unfortunately) . A new map in mwz would go a long way and would put it on par with round based in terms of new engagement. In an old zombies title, say Cold War, you can return to the game and see how far you can get again after taking a break from the game. In mwz, it is harder to play again after taking a break (after you got all schematics) because the satisfaction of completing contracts or completing DA isn't there again so much as before. In round based, each round is its own mini game and your trying to reach the next round, trying to play another mini game. In mwz, after obtaining all schematics, you can only try to progress to DA or red worm. In conclusion, the comparison needs to be apples to apples, not apples to oranges. Also, as someone already mentioned it here, different strokes for different folks.

@donut your quest for hundred contracts - it is gonna be incomparable to the other tiers because they changed the loot and rewards between seasons. (in S2 the rewards were different than in S1 and than in S3) You won't be able to compare, say, whether the rewards from T2 are more worth the effort than T3. You'd be comparing different seasons.

You said there’s no more reason to play MWZ. But to correct that statement there actually is. I’ve ran into a ton of player who are new to the whole zombies culture. I believe we should teach them how to unblock aether rifts and how to get schematics. Especially the warzone players are completely out of touch with zombies and the community that keeps the Zombies mode alive. Our community is huge but we need to be heard by the devs to continue to make zombies great.

I love the new smg, feels good & I run tier 3 easily with it. It’s a good weapon. I haven’t ran inc. rounds like everyone else because I didn’t have time over week to try but seems like it was fun. But we don’t need that, I’m running tier 3 like always and still easy. I like the more of a challenge to tackle hoards with movement and gunplay. That’s what makes it fun for me since game has become repetitive with no newness or contracts. But main point is this new smg rips with no issues. And something about the sound of the fire rate is bitch’n🤙🏻

The reserve ammo for this weapon is ass. Even with the larger clip its didnt even double. Plus if you're the only player in t3. All the zombies are gonna convert towards you and not spread out since nobody is around. So you get way more zombies coming at you.

The mtz was the better one to me. Bp50 and holder reloads are slower and until nerfed today you could run the 30 mag and pap3 only reload once for megas and disciples.

RBZ is super repetitive. MWZ had a lot of potential to be anything but repetitive.. but they’ve chosen not to support it. So it ended up becoming the same thing as RBZ. BOOORRRINGG The big open world of MWZ is what revived cod zombies for me. I couldn’t just play for high rounds anymore. Haven’t enjoyed RBZ since IWZ.

They need to fix the issues of the game before adding more to it. I hate to say it but id rather wait another year or two and play a game that works the way it's meant to be. Crashing all the time and containment bugs are too annoying. This is my favorite zombies mode and i stopped using my operator, who's at 942, just so i don't get mad when i hit 1k and crash

Doughnut this isn't to pick on you. People you do a cargo move the vehicle off roads and delivery zone. It's a huge problem in tier 2 and 1. I rarely see a cargo contract in tier3 returning. I normally see 1 per game. Tier 2 returns contracts faster than tier 1 and 3.

Move the LTV after you make your delivery. Folks keep leaving the truck rite there and it blocks others from making their delivery or even driving by depending on where you're going.

If I were playing in a lobby by myself and I left a cargo ltv in the end zone of that contract and I do another and that old vehicle that hasn't despawned after the last contract blocks me and I get out to move it so I can complete this contract and I get 2 slap downed in tier 3 it's my fault and not a self centered rando who wasn't being respectful of others. Not that I am saying you did or did not do that. But that and the scorcher bros is annoying and shows poor upbringing where respect,curtesy and inclusion of others is lacking. Much worse than the dmz exfil campers. Clear the vehicle completely out. For that t3 I usually dump the vehicle over the bridge in tier 2 in the field or in the water.

If there's no "op" weapon or attachment if I can't get the first do to scorcher bros I look about every 5 minutes or so if I need the essence boost but I don't go tier3 much as unless I have a very good day and I don't do contracts other than delivery in tier 3. Until this past weekend and now the nerfologist did it again I won't be going there much.

The biggest reason I prefer MWZ over round based is the community. You’re not going to get the community aspect in round based that you get in the mwz format. Everybody is helpful in the Mwz community.

i play for achievements and calling cards. then i go for skin unlocks. pretty close to getting caught up. That said, I like onslaught from Cold War. Why not make a NEW GAME +, where instead of exfilling, we go to a T4, t5, and T6 map. Then T7, T8, T9 for NG++

The new smg a good gun the black cell blueprint its a lot better then 90% the smg was fun doing the camo grind for it but round base is way better hands down but I like the change of paste just the time limit annoying but its good to bring new players to zombies as they ain't got worry about it getting to hard unlike round base be always getting harder and they struggle a lot but round base is my child hood love it so much

Bought the whole round-based thing I think round based zombies is boring yet I find MW3 zombies Is a lot more interesting I’m not exactly sure why being basically basically the same same thing. It is really just the same repetitive things granted with modern warfare zombies. I’ve only had a few hundred and round base zombies. I’ve been playing since the original black ops. On 360.
