For FM25, Try “Youth To Nation”. Focus on signing players from the nation the club is based in so your players are leading the club to Champions Leagues plus European Titles and World Cups. Barcelona 2008-2012 is the best real life example.

Sometimes I really don't understand the growth with the AI. I had Kendry Paez starting every game, winning multiple leagues, with 30+ goal contributions every season for 3 straight and didn't grow at all.

What about your training facilities? Were they good enough? Good enough coaches? Maybe he needed mentorship, maybe the league was too easy, maybe he performed badly in training and then maybe it’s just bad luck. There’s so many possible reasons.

​@@syff9063determination plays almost no role in player development. You need to have 10 determination, 10 ambition and max professionalism. So whether you have 10 or 20 determination is the same. Professionalism is very important. Also the game implemented hidden hidden attributes that you cannot see even with the editor. There is a new parameter affecting player development depending on the age of the player. Some player will develop young, some player will develop late you cannot see it nor do anything about it unfortunately.

As an Ajax fan, it’s funny to see that Berghuis, a player who joined us from Feyenoord (our biggest rivals), missed a penalty in the cup final and got sent off after 15 minutes in the final game. He was unstoppable for Feyenoord and never really delivered for Ajax. Keep in mind that he was really their big star and captain. I’m convinced that he sabotaged you. PS I live in Amsterdam, so you know what I’m up to right now.

Nonsense. Berghuis in his first half year peaked way higher than he ever did at Feyenoord. Yes, he fell off, but was undefeated in CL groups and won the league (as much league titles as Feyenoord won after he left).

Not sure if you have ever done this, but you should take over a team, you can't sign any players you can use the current team only for 1 season, you need to get rid off all the first team players and you can only bring your youth players through. also you get your youth in march that's how you can get new players. i've been doing it for this fm for the first time and i gotta say it's a challenge but enjoyable.

The only not real thing in game here is that if Ajax and Feyenoord play the cup finals together they play it over 2 matches due to supporters not being allowed near eachother.

For further explanation, the finals are always in Feyenoord's home stadium, De kuip. And it would give one side a huge advantage being Feyenoord. The supporters hate eachother so much that it has resulted in deaths due to the violence, every time "De Klassieker" is played, the mayor of the city has to employ the Mobile units around the stadium so the fighting can be avoided as much as possible. So because of that the Football association decided that a cup final couldn't be decided in a single game. In the Netherlands they still don't know how to deal with the hooligans even at the government level.
