I hope this helps making a good build. Magic numbers for Banshees: 8 to one shot Queen (no upgrades) 10 to two shot Spore Crawlers 7 to one shot Stalkers 7 to two shot Photon Cannons 2 to one shot Marine (no Combat Shield) 3 to one shot Marine (with Combat Shield) 6 to one shot Cyclone 6 to two shot Missile Turrets Overall against Terran go for 6, for Protoss go for 7, for Zerg go for 8 or 10.

This is by FAR my favorite series. the challenge to GM is fun, and how I got into your channel originally- but now that I'm a dedicated fan that watches every vid, I really like the commentated tourny matches the best. Can't wait for the monthly tournies with other pro's, i think it's going to become a staple of the sc2 community. The other content channels will be casting games from your monthly events :)

What a chaos that last game, opponent had no time to clear the minefield with all these swift rotating attacks and these mines got so many free hits on random stuff trying to chase down uThermal's army or trying to join their own army. That game both sides had tumors but on one side they were giving speed to allies while the other had offensive ones with mines as tumors

You asked for tournament suggestions. ▶Do SC2 commander. Each team has 4 players. A commander who does voice control of the others: Macro-Player, Defense-Player, Attack and Harass Player. GL HF

If you say "gl hf" and still want to fake the afk, you could pretend to fail pausing, like say "one sec" then pause and unpause instantly. Then you get an extra probe or two unsuspiciously.

If the zerg build nothing but speed-lings and queens they would easily overwhelm your cyclones at the time of your attack and then the mass queens could force your banshees away. THEN they could tech into banelings for their own attack. That's the easiest way to beat this mech strat. And you could prevent that by having a few mines to fall back to with your cyclones - and the mass lings would be obliterated if they mob your cyclones en masse in an attempt at a surround. I think ideally you want 8 banshees and 4 vikings (to defend the banshees), 2-4 widow mines, and 10-15 cyclones. Then add 5 siege tanks for home defense. Then double the numbers. This progression should lead to an eventual overwhelming attack or multiple maniples of mech to flank with. Best thing is it doesn't matter what they build unless they build burrowed units, in which case a few added ravens would fix that. 🤔👍

Game 3 of this match is why I watch uThermal. I mean, cheesy (like, good cheesy) series like speedrunning SC2 or planetary rush are really fun for me too, but you just gotta love the intersection of skills when things get crazy in the late game. You could really see him turn it up in the decider. Would love some more macro-oriented series, though I really appreciate what you do anyway!

Maybe, Banshee til >9 then transition to Thor-Hellbat? It becomes a Hammer and Anvil type. Let the Banshee harass and snipe, and if they are challenged, lead them to the Thor Hellbat group.

For example was there a team around you that helps you in finding strategies or how much time would you spend on playing compared to watching reviews or games from other players etc, and how many days a week or hours a day would you spend on playing or improving strategies and so on? uThermal next time you play mass banshees, plz go for the drones instead of the hatches, I play mass banshees in team games and realized that a horde of banshees can easily kill 25-30, 50 workers even if you let them attack in place over 10-15 seconds I only found out after watching my replays because I would have never guessed they could do that much work before 😂 😂

In the first game, you had the banshees over his bases, and took out many buildings, but you should have focused on the spire and the lair. By destroying and continually attacking his ability to create mutas, you could have made the banshee strategy work. Instead you had no priorities on the buildings you were destroying, and although you took down some bases, it wasnt the key building. Hence you died. Consider prioritising buildings differently once you have your 9 banshees initially, it would have won you the game
