If you put a one-way road in front of a school or business it makes more sense to have it go counter clockwise. That way passengers get out on the right/correct side. Just a thought.

Keep in mind that Dylan is Irish and is therefore more used to left-hand traffic, so clockwise one-way clusters probably are more natural to him. Still a valid point though.

For the suburbs, you should make it like its own little town with like an elementary school and high school and services as well as job opportunities because to be fair the suburbs are a bit far from city coverage on stuff and that drive every day for your citizens will be far. by the way, livestock doesn't need to be on fertile land just in case you want to expand another farm you need more than livestock.

The 'bug', if Overcharged Egg is right, can be relieved by placing some of the low income housing. Build a few council houses and they will come. Apparently you only need a few to start with

City is coming together pretty nicely, the new suburbs are well designed in my opinion, and with the embargo officially lifted, we'll only see it get bigger and better as time goes on. Amazing work as always, my friend.

About zoning don't get rid of every demand instantly if you do not enough workers are one of the one what I forgot it's better if you have a little bit of each demand for the kick off at you also I love you playing it reminds me of my old days of helping it😊😊😊

First off, I am so excited that Cities Skylines 2 is upon us and we are going to get to see (relatively) regular content of you playing it. Some thoughts on how you could improve that new school/suburb development: 1. Connect the School & Sports Field Park around to the far end of the suburb. 2. Make the path around the school area less angular. Keep the overall shape, but instead of big 90° corners, throw in more sweeping curves. This would both make it look more "natural" and also make it look conceivably like it's a jogging track for the school, especially once the trees grow in around it. One final point - I'm fairly certain one of the school add-ons is a sports field, so that might get you more value-added than a separate park asset. All-in-all, the city is starting to come along, I look forward to watching it's development.

One little thing I like about CS2 is the fact that the vanilla buildings look realistic. I've never been a fan of the base game growables in CS1. The NA buildings look a little too "SimCity 2000" and the EU buildings look too cartoonish.

i think the paths around the school might look a little better if they were at least slightly curved around the corners, it just looks a little silly having pedestrian paths like that when naturally pedestrians would not want to go around rigid right angles like that

21:50 I realize green heads like the idea of E busses & ev's, but the truth is only fantasy grids can support the bulk of that. Instead we have clean air busses, natural gas. Hoping that gets modded into the game.

I’m glad I caught your video as one of the first, in the first bit of the video already learned of features I hadn’t quite seen or followed lately, mostly the put down a bunch of trees, that’s awesome! And I really like the idea of the roundabouts to make a mock culdesac, definitely going to be using this idea when I get the chance. Great video!!

I got a Map Mod which had two valleys a ways down the freeway. Turned the two valleys into two split suburbs and was able to build a commuter train to the main city. Miss that city.

I really don’t like how the primary and highschool can’t just fit in your city like they belong there. They have to be almost the size of a entire neighborhood on their own. I hope modders will make some normal schools that are maybe a little more then a 6x6 but nothing more so the city looks like it all is supposed to be a city. The ones in CS1 really were almost perfect for an actual city

I think you will also have similar issue if and when you place your international airport cause you’ll have a big city and wide city by then

to give u a typ of avoiding or differentkly designing suburbs u can look at the city of leipzig in germany basicly at the main roads u have these old midrise european or soviet buildings u hvae "high" rises sprinkeled her and there especialy near buisy cross sections couse who would live there if not people who look for cheep apartments lol then u have behinf that in the side streets smaler row buildings and single family buildings they are definetly there inside the citys outer skirts but they are ducked behind the midrises wich has the benifit ofthe mids blocking the main road noice friom the family homes so it is a hidden suburb if u want so right on the edge of the city everything further out is a smal village on its own consisting of smaler sections and groupings of family homes and maybe some row houses sprinkeled inbetween with one or 2 small super markets so they dont have to drive all the way to town just to get stuff tbf in biger citys the school buildings arent as big as the shit here in this game XD its usualy small citys or towns who just lateron got school that have these big arieas couse its kinda for every village around i feel like there should be non upgreadable school buildings wich are a lot smaler but multy store wich u can pop inbetween high density housing definetly needs to be aded
