Hey I’m thinking about going into dentistry, I’m just curious, what age were you when you finished dental school? I’m 20 right now and going for an associate degree in dental hygiene but afterwards I want to get a bachelors in dental hygiene and then maybe apply to dental school

I have considered it! But if I became an orthodontist, I would no longer do cosmetic dentistry. I'd likely have to choose between the two.

Now that u been a doc for 6 months, do u think it’s better for ppl to choose the cheapest dental school they get into, or if they 100% know they do not want to specialize and want to do general dentistry (since they have prior DA experience) should they choose an expensive dental school that is known to be good for general dentistry

Always go with the best reputation for quality of education and the least expensive.
