Happy New Year Dayle! I seem to try new perfumes from time to time when I start to worry about running out of a staple…. Makes zero sense, why not just get a replacement instead of an entirely new scent, right? Anyway, I think since you like the rose LV scent, you would love Hermes rose ikebana… I love it and I’m not a fan of rose for perfume at all. It has rhubarb in it which imo really balances out the sweetness of the rose and gives it a very fresh, modern twist 🌹🥂

I love Hermes dinnerware. Perfect to buy dinnerware sets for your new home. Once you start collecting a specific line, it’s difficult to stop. It’s nice for the budget too because you can only buy a couple pieces at a time. Like everything else Hermes, they only have a few available at any given time. I started with the H deco in rouge. Then black. Now the Soleil. The silver and gold mosaic are a little too fancy looking for me. I love tea sets and have collections of those, Hermes and non Hermes.

I have bits and pieces of the Carnets d’Equateur collection too, it's so classic and sophisticated. I started with the mug bc it is their largest size cup. I also have the passifolia mug for my late night tea, and a lot of the Mosaique pieces, in Platinum and Gold. Oh, and the black pieces from H Deco collection since they are microwavable. It's so nice having options for different moods 🩷💚🩷

Oh yes, "Un jardin sur le Nil" smells wonderfully fresh and reminds me of my time as a student. I used to go to the perfumery with my best friend before class and we would spray each other with it. We were studying Egyptology at the time and thought it was so fitting. Very pretty dishes, I don't like it at all when everything fits together. 😊

I LOVE Vetiver Tonka, I wish my skin would cooperate and let it stay for more than 2 hours 😕 you might be able to get the dry oil in the future directly from the store if you're patient, they just have this really annoying custom of pausing production of some things only to have them randomly pop up years or months later. Also since you now bought A Garden on the Nile you could start considering an actual trip to the Nile 😉 As for the homeware designs: their availability has less to do with whether the original designer is still alive and more on the "Theme of the Year" at the brand if they're not on the the permanent collection like the gold Mosaïque or the red Guadalquivir and even then it doesn't mean the whole set is available because, again, they have that annoying custom

I have Un Jardin sur le Nil and enjoy it in the hot summer time. It’s like an unripe mango. I have about 100 fragrances so I categorize them by style and decide how I’m feeling that day or on what season we are in. It’s become an obsession which can leak over from hand bags so watch out😊. Hermes latest fragrance, Barenia, is one of my latest acquisitions! So good.
