Chasing Sunsets is an idea/concept I created to help me at a low point in my life. Basically Chasing Sunsets means chase your dreams. Instead of chasing all my dreams and hopes for the future I just chase tomorrow's sunset and see where that leads to. It doesn't matter if I'm happy, or sad, in Portugal or Iceland, I always try to see the sunset, because missing the sunset you really want to see is like missing an opportunity. That's why I love to watch sunsets. The rest of the deep full meaning I'll leave to you to reflect on and think of the sunsets we miss in life.
The meaning behind this short is based on the concept, starting with me arriving at the "sunset", but this one feels different. I start to relive all the memories of my life, moments and people, that shaped me into what I am today, realizing that I've been chasing sunsets since the first day!! The rest I'll leave it up to your interpretation.

That's a lot of memories for such a young man. Good for you! When my son died at 20 we were collecting all the photographs we could find of him, but unfortunately we did not have any moving memories. He died way before smartphones and of course we didn't have one of those big gigantic VHS cameras.

Keep chasing those sunsets whether you're adventuring in strange, new lands, or back home, where the familiar, nostalgic comfort of dear friends and family wrap around you like a warm blanket. Whenever you feel down, remember all of the things you have to be thankful for. Write a list if you have to, and add to it when you feel glum. You're experiencing things most of us will never have a chance to do; seeing incredible places and meeting new people all over the world...
