Really happy to see you editing your photos individually this year! It’s such a great choice because it lets the best parts of your work stand out and makes each photo look more natural. Presets can be handy, but they don’t always work for every photo. This new approach is already making your photos look even better. Can’t wait to see more!

Thank you! I’d be interestedl to see the “old’ edit side by side with the new to understand better the difference. Lovely scenery and setting as well!

A very informative video, also showing the 'human' side of photography!😀

Would really love a few of the views around Marsden Rock,....not seen it for me ow on eyes since long before it dropped and got a bit smaller,.... The views around Vancouver Island are not quite the same as what I might see of the Grotto or the likes of Trow Rocks very near where I played as a lad back in the 50's........ memories and miles gone by since I changed a bit and became a Canadian kid who could ice skate like the best, giving up the football boots for a pair of Super tacks( ice skates ) on the local ponds when they freeze over.......... now it's all rain and liquid H2O..... what a shame, your views of my childhood areas bring some memories to the fore, but I am starting to have a need for more of where I came from - I'll never forget ..............

Oh gosh.. I use to edit every photo individually but literally couldn't stand it. I've made 2 presets out of some other presets that fits my style and I apply them to every photo and do small adjustments to my liking after that, including masking.

My biggest photography goof that I shouldn't admit in public, is that I only recently realised the light meter is the light meter and not the current exposure compensation setting. 🤪 So I've been using the in-camera histogram for a good long while instead, to judge the light levels. Do you have that displayed in the VF or screen, or do you prefer less clutter when framing? Also, good on yer for going out in the cold, looking for those great shots. You're a better man than I, Gunga Din.

The pictures using the 40-150mm look really good. I have this lens and have been thinking about upgrading it to the f2.8 pro but maybe I won't now.
