Hi! So happy to see you're showing the differences between shoes! Wanted to point out a few things; Gaynor Minden shoes are made from an Elastomeric Polymer shank, which is similar to the material of a scuba diving fin. So, you get the great flexibility and support without it wearing down as quickly as a traditional paste shoe. The shape of GMs also promotes proper alignment so that beginning dancers (at any age) aren't overstretching the corner tip of the shoes, which leads to misalignment. There are also five shank flexibilities so beginner dancers are advised to wear a more flexible shank. Their feet are able to develop the proper muscles in their arch for foot articulation en demi-pointe. Feel free to reach out to us directly if you'd like to chat more!

gaynors honestly don't strengthen your feet like traditional shoes. they made my feet very weak and barely developed any strength and i used two different fitting pairs as a total beginner.. wearing bloch and russian pointes caught me up and gave me much stronger feet. the difference is very obvious, unless someone wants to just wear gaynors forever as a advanced student and pro and so on, they will likely hold you back from having your full potential in your feet come through.. just my experience.

Perfect feet for modelling Pointe Shoes that is for sure.

Photographe Demode are you guys dancers? i am just asking because a dancer would not say that about her feet no hate
@photographedemode5 жыл бұрын
@@kseniadostanic130 The person who is modeling the shoes has feet that most dancers want, strong and flexible. Most dancers are envious of people with feet like this. As a former dancer, I know what I'm talking about, SAB training ect.

Great video- loose the cheesy sound effects.

Chelsea Gilroy the cheesy sound effects help the viewer understand that a pointe shoe fitting is extremely serious and you should probably not have fun at all while watching or getting fit! How dare you critique the glue holding the entire film together. 🤣

Yeah, no sound effects.

Ariana Dewing do you have So danças? They are becoming really popular over here in Germany, one dance shop has thrown out some other brands and is now completely stocked up with So danças. I wanted to go for a fitting, but couldn‘t even get an appointment yet because they are booked out 😅 There is some hype going on (in the professional companies) 🤔

Besides the suffolks what would you recommend for someone that has a low arch and have a problem getting on top of the box? 🩰🩰I've just been wearing Gaynor's but would like your opinion. Thx😄😄

i feel like all of the shoes had a vamp that was wayyyy too high for her feet. and all the shoes seemed either too short or too narrow. that’s probably why it looks like she’s almost flexing her toes in the shoes. i’m surprised that as a professional fitter she didn’t notice that. or maybe she just put on a size that fit even if it wasn’t perfect just to make it a little easier to get all the shoes for the vid.

You guessed it! I did the best I could with the inventory at the time but since then I have better options and am creating a more updated one, stay tuned💖!!

obviously her feet won't fit all of these different brands, tons of people's feet only work in like 2 brands at most or even just 2-3 models are good on them lol like myself

what makes a shoe great for turning?
@ArianaDewing4 жыл бұрын
Edit: sorry I thought you said who! Bloch Balances have a nice wide platform for turning, and Gaynor Minden’s are very nice to turn in because of their shank, it doesn’t change or break down, once you get used to the design it’s great to turn and balance, just a bit harder to roll through ! A shoe great for turning would mean it supports your foot, & help you balance, probably a shoe with stronger shank so you can stay lifted and pulled up !
@cynthiang15924 жыл бұрын
Ariana Dewing ahh i see thanks!
@starlighty88883 жыл бұрын
Tapered shoes are better are turning if you are good at balancing but if the problem with you is that you can’t balance well then a larger platform might work better

I believe there is honestly NO human whose feet are not looking GORGEOUS in Russian pointes😍 And also there is no-one whose feet are not looking fat and bad-looking in Bloch European balance 🤮

Hehe! I wear bloch balance, they actually don't look too bad if I do say so myself. lol!
@ananyamoses69524 жыл бұрын
Yeah, actually, for me and so many people, Russian pointes look ugly on our feet, and Blochs look gorgeous! Every foot is different, so Russians may work for you, but they won't work for everybody.
