I've Been Hacked! Here's How I recover my channel?
Hey there! I've got some important news to share. Unfortunately, my KZbin channel got hacked recently.
So, here's what went down: On May 29, 2024, I shut down my computer and hit the hay. But then, out of the blue, I got a notification saying my account was logged in on another device. Freaked out, I rushed back to my computer and phone, only to find out that I had been logged out of both. And guess what? The hacker had changed my password too.
It was clear that my channel had been hacked, and I knew I had to take action to recover it. I clicked on the "try another way" option, hoping to regain access. But to my dismay, the hacker had even changed my mobile numbers. I then tried using a passkey, but the sneaky intruder had deleted that too.
Feeling a little desperate, I thought of trying to recover my account using my alternative email address. So, I clicked on "try another way" once again. Can you believe it? The hacker had gone ahead and changed my alternative email address as well.
After a while, my KZbin channel disappeared completely. It was like all my hard work had vanished into thin air. I was panicking and couldn't find a solution. That's when I decided to reach out to KZbin for help. But without access to my email, it felt like a dead end. After some research, I discovered that I needed to fill out a KZbin hijacked form. The only problem was that I couldn't find the link to that form. So, I turned to my friend Vishal and asked him to fill it out for me.
Thankfully, he managed to find the form, and we filled in all the necessary information about my channel. I couldn't locate my channel ID, so I used a website called Social Blade to retrieve it.
When filling out the form, there were two crucial pieces of information needed: the channel ID and the AdSense pub ID (if you have a monetized channel). Make sure to keep your channel ID safe in an easily accessible place. If you've received any previous AdSense payments, you can find the pub ID there.
