Your snapper is crazy. I'm in Pennsylvania and found a new born common snapper in January, temps were 30-40 degrees. I've had him for a little over 3 months. His disposition is very chill. No aggression at all but I spend a lot of time with him. He is gaining 1-2g per day weight. This turtle is a miracle to be alive let alone thriving like he is. I named him Jack, for Jack Frost. By the way we watch fanatic. We've seen everyone of your videos and Fins

For flies, they sell huge rolls of sticky tape, like 18” wide, at tractor supply. Wrap large trash cans and watch that thing destroy your problem. Worth a vid.

Hey Paul, Very entertaining video today, especially when Brenten almost became Turtle food. Hopefully he cleaned it up well and took care of it right away, because obviously you don't know where else that turtle's mouth has been. Then again, you just might know and are taking good care of Brenten in the aftermath. The new pond for the snapping turtle is awesome, the farm & animals look great as usual, and the 5,500 gal. pond is really amazing. The snapper is so wild because you never pay any attention to him. Usually they tame down pretty easily if handled enough. He could have been gone for 2 weeks and you wouldn't have noticed.

9:49 I think I know why raptor is so aggressive. It spring which means its mating season for most animals. As his body is priming itself to mate as well as being flooded with testosterone and adrenaline ready to to fight a potential rival.
