I'll add this comment for further explanation regarding the hijab advice. I don't believe in blaming our lack of hijab on "it's a journey". Either you choose to commit or not, and the "hijab journey" narrative can easily become an excuse we lean on which further halt our progress. Now, this tip was to newly converted sisters who are struggling with the many many changes that comes with converting. For some it might be very easy to "jump into" hijab , and thats great! Then they should! But for those who TRULY struggle and are overwhelmed to the point of "paralysis' can take this advice from me and first focus on the pillars of Islam, their relationship with Allah swt, learn about hijab and set the right intentions. - J

Sister - Please try reading Islamic texts sometimes. Islam says women are less intelligent than men. It also says that men should treat their women like planting fields for babies and it is ok for men to marry 4 women including children. How are you ok with all of that as a woman.
