Hello my sweet Yarny twin. I sure had to push it but I was determined, lol. It had been far too long since I’ve been on here. I will definitely need to look up that elephant! We’ve been here 7 months now and I feel like we are still at the same issues of when we first moved in. 😭 Hopefully things will start to normalize soon. We STILL can smell the chlorine in our water. I showered at my son’s house the other day. It’s hard when I get a little energy there are tons of things to catch up on. I’ve missed you Kerryn. It’s so good to read your comments. In Ny state when you but a house they nickel and dime you to death with all kinds of inspections. However, the good thing is problems like your having are caught and need to be fixed before the house is sold. The repairs and inspection costs can all be part of negotiating the price of the house. Hello. 😀 We did have an inspection however we found it greatly lacking once we moved in. For example we just found out why the window was leaking. They did not put any plastic barrier between the wood and the paneling on the WHOLE outside of the home 😭 Hopefully no other windows leak but it’s what happens when you buy an older home. We definitely have learned a lot about home since we have moved in, lol. Thank you for still being here for me. I greatly appreciate it. 🥰🤗

@chronicallycrocheting I'll always be loyal no worries there. I hope that's the last needed repair for a long time. You never know which is best new or old home. New are made so cheap. Older especially really old homes have character but lack storage. So it's the luck of the draw basically. I guess it's best to pick it by location location location lol. I rent because I don't pay for repairs lol.

Next week they finally start repairing the basement after the septic disaster. It’s been over 3 months. I’m so happy to be crocheting and making vlogs again. It’s one of my happy places. ⁠I do crochet when ever I can. I did knitting too but can’t hold the needles any more. I got special crochet hooks with a big base ( like Furl or Ommi) & they really help. I always have been crafting & get very upset when I can’t do everything for a while. X

I can knit some as well. I can make a basic beanie. I have a sweater 2/3 done as well. 😬 I get not being able to hold up the knitting needles.
