Hey man I think you're feeling and saying what every man on planet earth is thinking every day. I am only loved when I have something to provide to someone. The only people who will ever love you truly unconditionally are your parents(if you're lucky) and your kids(if you're there for them). So even those two conditions have conditions. It's a lonely and hard existence as a man on this planet yet the ladies love to think we are all living in heaven. That's why when any man manages to cut off the boozing I am really impressed. It's so unbelievably easy to just look to the bottle or the can and let yourself be numb to the world just cruising on through life until you're keeled over. You're a good guy and we can tell how much you care for your kids, who are truly the only people you are beholden to at the end of the day. Just keep pushing out videos and doing what you've been doing. Your therapy in the lens is just as therapeutic for us to hear what we are already thinking or feeling. 🙏

That’s called aging process😄. I’m 66-year old Filipina who used to enjoy driving my sport car for 16-18 hours/day to travel back and forth throughout the US alone. Now, I don’t enjoy that long exhausting trip. The latest drive I completed was 12/18-12/19/24 2-day 28-hour road trip from LA to Dallas. I’m a traveling hospital nurse administrator and been receiving my $3200/month SS benefit, but haven’t accepted that it’s time for me to quit and finally retire in the Philippines. I watched your videos and learned values in life. Thank you.

At 48 years old I decided to sell my house in Brooklyn new York city that was paid off for 1.4 million and decided to retire in south America. I also receive a 2200$ a month passive income. I figured that's plenty to retire especially overseas. My biggest fear in life is dying with money. It's time to start spending. In case I go totally broke which I won't because it's almost impossible to spend 2000$ a month in south America but just in case I go broke When I'm 65 I will receive social security to hold me over until I die.

Hey brother, aloha from Hawaii! I’ve commented once or twice here and there. But hopefully you remember me as the southern boy from Hattiesburg Mississippi, I grew up there as well as Louisiana. Retired from the army got my purple hearts, bought your book enjoyed every second of it because you spoke the truth! To any of you reading this comment that have not bought his book, buy it! It will help you understand where he’s coming from as well as every other veteran! That beautiful woman in my profile picture is the amazingly beautiful Filipino that I met on accident. I was sent by the US Army to go and guide and be a mentor to the base commander of Fort Macci Side. So I did my mission, and then one night I met that beautiful woman you seen in the picture. Little did I know that the guy I was training during the daytime, that was his daughter, his first born! I am forever in love with her, I told all of my friends the third day. I met her that I was going to marry her. Here we are 13 years later with two kids still happily married! I had one deployment in Iraq, and two deployment in Afghanistan. What you said in that book is absolutely, 100% truthful! My hardest and most difficult deployment was Iraq! It’s where I received my purple heart and injuries Us veterans, especially the ones that have been in combat have a special personality. I personally love his because I can relate to it because it seems that we’ve been through the same shit! Those of you that just wanna give him shit as far as the way he is and his personality, you obviously just don’t know . Respect to you, brother, aloha from Hawaii, and since you’re from Tupelo, I have no idea who your fan is but I’m a golden eagle fan from USM cause I’m from Hattiesburg lol!

I’ve been to Tupelo, Ms one time, up from South Louisiana. (true story) Went there to spend the night at Ramada Inn before going to “Leathers” family reunion the next morning. We got to the Ramada Inn in the early afternoon. We got settled into our room, and were hanging out and swimming at the pool. Lo and behold the Klu Klux Klan began rolling in because they were having rally there that night in the convention center. I was 16 at the time in 1975. When I say “they” were mostly all dressed in their white robes and hoods, openly carrying handguns, shotguns, and clubs/baseball bats, it’s definitely not an exaggeration at all. Our family basically just shrugged it off, went out to eat dinner, and later all went to sleep. We were awoken by a loud “disturbance” in the middle of the night by the rally members raising hell. We packed up the motor home and got out of there. We spent the rest of the night in the motor home. The next day at the reunion the talk was that the rally got out of hand and harassed and chased out of the property, some black hotel workers there. 😔 Anyway, anytime I hear the name of Tupelo, I think of that experience first, and Elvis second. Take care Marcos on your trip here to the states. If you find yourself anywhere around the areas of Baton Rouge or New Orleans anytime while you’re here, let me know, and I’ll take you to dinner. Peace Brother.

The problem is that travel is becoming routine. You said as much yourself when you said "A trip starts to become an adventure when you start to 'venture off into the unknown'." Once it becomes "known," especially repeatedly, it's no longer an adventure - it's routine. Leading up to my recent trip to Thailand I realized the eagerness and excitement I used to feel just wasn't there. I used to look forward to the travel part of the trip as much as I looked forward to the time I'd spend at the destination itself. This time it felt more like a chore; a burden. I'll be traveling again this time next year to get away from the cold of the northeast, but I think I'm going to look for a destination closer to home, and maybe not stay as long. The longer I've been here in Pattaya (8 weeks now, with another 4 to go) the more the stay is becoming routine.

Brother talk about adventures. I had to leave the Philippines due to a bad bone infection and went to the closest Veterans hospital that was San Francisco. They treated me there for a month then kicked me out halfway fixed. I caught the bus from San Francisco back to Biloxi in a wheelchair with a couple prescriptions of antibiotics and pain pills. You talk about a miserable adventure of mishaps that took 6 days. I could have done a doctorate thesis on the nut jobs that just gather around bus stations drawn to that sign like moths to a flame.
