This just happened to me today! It sucks because I don’t know why except they told me “fraud” was the reason. How can I commit fraud if it’s my card from my bank, I’m the only one that uses the ps5 and I don’t play online? I’m not even eligible for an appeal for some reason. I was lucky enough to only get suspended for seven days but I can tell you that through extensive research there is absolutely nothing you can do about a permanent ban other than an appeal. But from everything I read online, I didn’t find a single case that was reversed-not ONE. I really hate this for you, and I really had an eye opening experience about buying digital products because once you are banned either permanently or temporarily-there is absolutely nothing you can do about it and if you think about it, it goes to show you that all these greedy companies have to do is literally change one tiny piece of wording in the terms of service and they can screw us over royally. It’s beyond ridiculous and should be illegal.

I am Lucky not to be banned forever, I wouldn't even try to contact playstation to lift this ban as it is pointless. I got permanently suspended from my ps5 after only a month of getting it and for a chargeback on vbucks. Literally got banned for trying to sus out a kid Using game chat for speaking racial and homophobia towards players while griefing and go banned in the process. Literally have the same thoughts as this dude as I lose my 11yr account while the kid still gets to play forget PlayStation give them the same amount of time they gave to your appeal which is none :/
