Hey maxx, if your heart isn’t in powerlifting anymore, it’s ok to walk away. You’re not a quitter. Quitting would be stopping before the job was done. You have so much to the sport and inspired so many (myself included). Focus on the next big thing!

First of all, I'm not sure what Helix pays you for sponsorships but it's not enough. Straight fact! Secondly, I completely respect the awareness to realize the amount of commitment and dedication it would take to break the next numbers on deadlift, squat, and bench. The fact that you've been able to reach some significant milestones in those areas that now give you the ability to switch your focus and priorities to bigger and better things like Taylor, your businesses, and just continuing to upgrade your life is absolutely amazing. I don't think sacrificing those other areas in life just to squat 25 more pounds matters in the grand scheme of life. Your dedication, perspective, and maturity are true inspiration. Keep it up and eat more sour strips! #Skew the data

I started following you when I was 15 (11 years ago) and you and a few others were my huge motivators behind powerlifting, I’ve since pulled back on it to focus on school and family, life requires a lot of attention man and you’ll find more support than dissent in your decision🤘🏽🤘🏽
@Inevitable_95 Жыл бұрын
From a fan since 2016 I can say that it’s not the numbers you’ve hit in powerlifting that made those vlogs what they were, it was the energy, effort, and enthusiasm you put into to not only motivate yourself but us as well. I say that in this point in your life you should take those 3 things and pour them into furthering SS, EF and your family, majority of us would enjoy that ride just as much as anything else you’ve put out . At the end of the day it’s your character and broad attention to detail that keeps us coming, not necessarily the actual content.

Your PRs in life have been far more valuable and exciting than your lifting numbers. I dont even remember the last time I saw you hit one in a video in recent years, yet im still here lol (respectfully). The wackiness and randomness is what keeps the og viewers watching. Would be cool to see a video with Nick Wright and/or Chris Jones like the good old youtube days and maybe a few FDOE vids but otherwise, here in it for the long haul 🍻🙏

You’ve added so many different elements to your life/channel. I think the saying “jack of all trades, master of none” can be applied here. You’ve got Sour Strips, house, relationship, and regular content. It makes sense to dial the focus onto what’s filling you cup and not overextend yourself for the sake of feeling like you owe people certain content.

I know exactly how you feel, Maxx. When I was younger, I wanted to be as big as I could get!!! I did pretty good, I got to 280 pounds at 6 feet tall….all natural. Then, in my 40’s I had to drop weight just for health reasons. It was hard not being that “big guy” any more, but it was a different time in my life. I think you’re probably feeling the same way. Lifting heavy and going after PR’s is something you’ve done your whole life, but now I think your at another stage in your life where that’s not important anymore…. I know it’s kind of sad because it’s like you’re leaving a piece of you behind, but that’s just how life is. Embrace the new stage and enjoy.

Hey Maxx, we all go through different phases in life. I started following your channel because of Christians and my journey through fitness. Been training for 3yrs now and to be honest I have shifted more to your channel because like most of your audience we all feel a connection with you. Both you and Christian are genuine and people will continue to watch your content because of you. I personally enjoy your motivation when it comes to fitness, health, your drive for business success and most importantly your humour! if you decide to shift your focus from powerlifting to family/other interest it’s all good! Your constant drive for everything you do is infectious and to see you shift to fatherhood is admirable and I for one would love to see your blog through that wonderful journey. Your going to be an awesome dad! My son is now 10yrs old and I can assure you your priorities in life will change and for all the right reasons. All the best Maxx!

We like your content regardless of power lifting of strength training. I think everyone’s goals change overtime. All that matters is that your content stays true to you. Over the ten years I’m sure every follower has changed something they’re doing in the gym. I think people look at your content for inspiration & community. I’m here because you’re living a good healthy life & you also like margs. You don’t take life too seriously. It’s better than other channels. Not to mention the SICCC angles.

Maxx, I turned 40 this year. When we had our 1st kid I gave up Crossfit and switch to more a strength maintenance with a summer of switching to bodybuilding to add muscle mass.
