What I don't understand about your advice here. What is wrong with doing these business models where you are required in the beginning to do cold outreach, the skills you learn along the way are so valuable. Yes it's hard work. But "doing the hard work, especially when you don't feel like it" applies so heavily here. It brings you out of your comfort zone, teaches you everything about business and it's predicable income. For example lets just say I'm in high ticket closing (eg $1,500 per month per business), I reach out to 100 people a day, and I close 2-3 of those businesses. That's a still a great achievement. Once you've built up the systems and the skills to do this. You can hire even better people to do the work for you and manage/scale the business. I understand the authenticity part about all this, I agree to an extent. But what's wrong with doing some actual hard work and exposing yourself to learning high level skills that can be used anywhere in life? I'd be interested in your thoughts about this take.

I think he‘s just a little biaded in favor of the synthesizer model, to be honest. I‘ve seen the freelancing/agency world a little and it doesn‘t have to be that bad. Like you said, it‘s easily possibly to make way more than $20/hour doing B2B services. I guess he‘s jumping on the trend a little here since being a synthesizer is the big topic right now in the self-improvement space (see creators like Dan Koe). Not that I find it bad, I‘m aspiring to be oneself. I just believe the view portrayed here is too biased.
@BaileyLackas7 ай бұрын
I agree with you. It has worked well for him, it's definitely the more "sexy" business model to pursue. I think if he broaden his perspective a little more on different avenues you can take, he'd be a really great guide for young people wanting to start a business.

You don't have to watch this video twice, nor is every sub from his main channel watching the unfiltered channel and vice versa. This is very helpful. I am a mechanical engineering student in my first year. From the very beginning i wanted to start my own business but at the same time i didn't want to disapoint my parents so i went into engineering. The problem is that i don't know how to keep up with my studies and develop my business simultaneously because it takes a lot of time and energy from my day. What would you recommend? Is there a way to combine those two?

Concentrate on one thing, thats why men cant multitask like women just attune the things to your nature and maybe after studies you should pursue it, you cant do two things together my friend, both will not be successful
