There’s a LOT of poverty in the Philippines. Women there will do just about anything to ingratiate themselves to you in hopes that you will lift them up from their often desperate circumstances. Men who are undateable here in the USA: elderly, obese, uneducated, misogynistic, mentally ill, physically disabled, unattractive, of limited means, socially awkward, etc., are accepted by these people with open arms because they see westerners as ATM machines. Marry one and you have married the whole family and will be financially pressed upon by them as well. I’ve heard a lot of horror stories, so Buyer Beware. Also, much of what they eat is insanely unappetizing. I mean, boiled bull’s dick? Really?!!

I just found your channel, I have been BINGING on your Content for 8+ hours!!!! WOW, I can't believe I didn't know you existed until now. This story was incredible, beautiful and inspirational, where it makes you just stop and enjoy life and the possibilities. I never thought I would find love again or dream of it and 4 years ago, I made the decision to be reborn and in doing so I left all my BS and MS degrees behind and embraced Photography. I have now captured in photos, 30 couples who have got married, never once, breaking my character as a documentation of another's love story to become emotional, until I saw your wedding. Just amazing!!! Now, I wish to capture not only a beautiful wedding like this in a beautiful place, but I also believe I too will find the love of my life. If by chance you DO read this, I would love to be pointed to the videos that help me understand how to become such an amazing story teller as you are and the skill set to do this... I love how everyone has a story, but very few will make the decision to capture it, I would love to learn even more how to do it so well. Thank you and congratulations on your wedding and beautiful life.

Yes, they are non-confrontational compared to, say, us spaniiards, dutch, etc.. but less so than other Asian cultures. Even in Latin America, these "latin" traits vary from country to country. We in Thailand believe, that people with white skin are more intelligent than people with dark skin. I was shocked. Then I tried to explain, that dark skin of people exist in countries where it is a lot of sun and the dark skin is just a protection against sun burn and cancer no more. And this unlucky and stupid believe shares people in Asia so the white skin people have a better image than dark skin people. It is really horrible. Start juicing organic fruits and vegetables. Organic 1lb of carrots, 2 apples, 2 oranges, 3 golf ball sized beets, 1 celery stick, 2 cups of spinach, 1 cucumber. You follow that recipe and drink 16 ounces a day 4 times a week which equates to about two batches a week, you will never get cancer, you will feel a million times better and you'll have energy again. I highly recommend getting some low mercury, sustainably caught sardines, they are really good for you!
@steveroman372911 ай бұрын
I also recommend if you're ever starting to feel off or sick in any way, make this recipe *BEWARE* it tastes like garbage but will heal you. 2 tsp organic shredded ginger, 1 garlic clove shredded, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, 1 whole lemon squeezed, 1 tbsp honey, mix in warm water and drink the whole thing. I guarantee you, you'll feel better the next morning or even later that day in some cases.

Beautiful documentary of the people, culture and beauty of Philippines -well done Drew. I have never traveled here-but would welcome the chance if ever given the opportunity.❤

I have to say I really enjoyed your video. It was realistically informative without the usual non-sense. I’m retired and 79 and I guess I would fit into what you would call the ultra rich category. My after tax retirement income exceeds $120,000/year. I do have to see a doctor about every three months; but most of my health problems have been fairly well resolved. I don’t play golf; but I am an avid fisherman. I have a female friend from the Philippines who is currently working in Kuala Lumpur so she can put her 1 son and 2 daughters through college. We’re share the same faith and values. And we respect each other very much. I subscribed to your program and I’m looking forward to learning more from both of you. It’s nice to see a sensible program without all of the ex-pat hype or disparaging comments.

I read the discrimination finally so I’m commenting again.. I’ve always just wanted to go anywhere in the Philippines it’s the most beautiful country ever! I’ve never been able to travel because of having little children and not able to afford anything for myself and I have recently lost my youngest son at 13 years old and my 3 other sons are adults and I would loose my mind if I ever won something like this! Your wedding was a fairy tale wedding so beautiful and lie I said Drew you’ve landed a Filipino Nicki Minaj. She is gorgeous. You guys are beautiful together. Congratulations once again.

Just like any other country and culture. It has its own unique highs and lows, and I hope when the time comes you decide to visit here. You enjoyed our people and culture and left this country full of happiness and experiences you never experienced in other parts of the world.

I’d be nervous of New York City and San Francisco than the Phils. I am Filipino living in NYC and it is scarier than any city in Metro Manila, Philippines.
@alansokelisatruehero8520 Жыл бұрын
@@jilianemorales2074 amen. US cities are a million times more unsafe than any place in the philippines, with the exception of the deep south where you encounter muslim fundamentalists and jihadis who want to break away from the country, even then i'd rather vacation in the muslim territory than walk around chicago or New york and get mugged.

Was in Switzerland for a month last year with my Filipina wife of 30 years. The Filipinos are really open and fun. If you marry one, you get treated better than one deserves, no matter where you run into them in the world. Our son is now married to a Filipina also…

New sub here and want to say I appreciate the very real reviews of Tondo. Some of the poorest people in my humble country are actually the happiest. It’s called learning to live with so little and appreciating every single thing they get. FYI, actually went to school from kindergarten to high school in Tondo 👍🏼

Would love for you to come to Austria soon. Thanks for the amazing travel content, it's so interesting to watch!

I also recommend if you're ever starting to feel off or sick in any way, make this recipe BEWARE it tastes like garbage but will heal you. 2 tsp organic shredded ginger, 1 garlic clove shredded, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, 1 whole lemon squeezed, 1 tbsp honey, mix in warm water and drink the whole thing. I guarantee you, you'll feel better the next morning or even later that day in some cases.

in my 20s i spent 10 days on Alderney, a very small island off the English coast. My friend had a great Aunt on the island, who picked us up at the airport in her car at the age of 96, threw our bags in the back, took us to her house and cooked us a meal. I'll never forget it
