Great video dude, can I ask where you foud the toque setting for the rear axle? thanks

I just looked up a rear end diagram online. Are you talking about the 6 bolts to the diff or the big nut next to the wheel?

@@JonathanMai Thanks for the speedy reply, I have a welded diff on my V8 Soarer but will need to swap it out for the old open diff to pass MOT in the UK (yearly vehicle inspection to make it road legal) so was just looking to know where you found torque settings for the rear end. I'm assuming Soarer and SC300/SC400 would be the same so will do some seaching

@@darrenliggett7222 For the most past year, the diff bolts change sizes so the torque spec is a little different.

hey man i been checking your videos out, i been curious on starting my own build. i have no automotive engineering knowledge and was wondering how you know how to do all this plus how you learned all of these skills, i would love to go into a job trade like this.

@@JonathanMai why didn't you keep ur factory diff? Isn't the SC diff a 4.something?

Im getting lose to doing the cd swap, your videos have helped alot with research and development lol i like the idea of the 430 rear end but my car is a deticated drift car. Is it usable at all for performance driving? Or is it currently great for basically the daily drivability? I know cd009 is close ratio and i already have a ar5 with the same idea going on. I haven't compared the ratios though. Also with the 430 rear end. Are the stubs direct swap between the 2 diffs?
@JonathanMai Жыл бұрын
I have a diff video so I recommend you go check it out. For a NA 2j drift car, the 430 3.26 rear end is a tiny bit lazy. There are many variants with rear ends that you might find desirable. The 3.26 is better for a daily I would say.

I’m gonna tell you mines is still auto with no power steering you really have to throw the wheel bc it’s such a big car but from what I see ur good bru you got the basics down keep practicing👌🏾

Yo, I appreciate your pointers. I think I am just afraid of snapping or breaking something because it is my daily. I think I just need to fully commit so I will try throwing the wheel.
