Your explanation of home ownership is in the right direction. People don’t understand the dynamics of real estate. The wealthy people have assets & poor people have liabilities. Kudos on your travels, hardship & achievements. I have lived in America for more than fifty years. I am retired & don’t regret my stay here. People also wonder why we don’t invest in Ghana. I did on 2 occasions. All of them ended in fiasco. Ghanaians are not trustworthy. Why do u have to be present for a business to survive? Ghanaians have a tendency to rob from the owner when he/she is not around. They soon forget that when the business collapses they are out of jobs. There is an Akan saying (translated into English) that states that “to eat forever, it’s better than to eat for the present”. Brother keep on moving. U are already a success.

Well done mate 👏 on the explanation on a mortgage. He understands the western system. This is what I call a smart cookie, he's very well assimilated. IT IS BETTER TO GET A LOAN TO OWN A HOUSE THAN TO GET A LOAN TO HAVE PARTIES, WEDDINGS, ETC OR LIVE LAVISHLY.

His housing market idealogy only works when the housing market is bullish. Housing prices also falls. The assumption thr equity eill only appreciate is proof he's not studied the housing market history in North America over the last 50years

I bet the bank borrowed you $720,000 to be able to live in the house. So, now you're paying the bank little by little until you finish paying the bank in 30-40 years😅

So what... thats the system... also people pau their mortgage earlier as well. Its possible to pay more towards the debt. He obviously is doing something right to get (if he has) a mortgage for that big amount. You think its that easy for banks to give? They check everything before they do it. Also which bank gives a complete loan for a mortgage... you will at least need to have money and then they add on...
@Whogonacheckme6 ай бұрын
@xXurbansweetnessXx why are you getting mad? I was starting the facts because your headline says, "I've bought my 6 bedroom house." You haven't bought it yet. The bank owns your house. Just Chile, do you know what my house is worth? Stop bragging!

@@Whogonacheckme I'm not angry. It's just the truth also you don't know how much someone has paid off.. it just sounds like a haters thing to say. Other cultures would celebrate and not say that. Also ehy is someone talking about his achievements bragging to you... he is doing an interview. I'm sure he didn't know dj nyame was going to use that in the title. I don't even know the man but I was like nice! Making moves and creating generational wealth.
