I would give this unit 5 stars on decor if the designer had not incorporated European art in the decor. That pic of that European woman in the bonnet looks like some pilgrim or slave time shyt. And the naked figures on the balcony is very distasteful. In America we are so inundated with images of whiteness/European culture it's a shame that when we come to an African/black continent, we experience the same thing. #images matter.

I stayed @ Villa D’ Coco last November when I was in Ghana. It’s a great guest house with ocean view in Nungua beach road. Sango beach and 15mins away from La palm royal beach, 10mins from Osu. Google them and check them out for your next stay.. it was really affordable and I felt like I’m in my own house..

The huge problem with Africa is that the only people who can enjoy these are the one percent Everyone else lives in abject poverty !! I am a Nigerian living in America and everyone in this country can enjoy things like this regardless of income .At the company where I work the woman who cleans our offices, whose husband works maintenance , last year took all her grand kids on a vacation to Disney world. Their favorite vacations were cruises and they went on one every year! She retired this year to a beautiful paid off house, which they had spent the last 2 years before retiring renovating every room. In Africa the lifestyle I just described is lived only by the mega rich!

Ummm, no, please don't get it twisted about America... the level of property and homelessness is real. The people who don't see the American poor are cloistering themselves in their own little conclaves. The poverty in America might not be as open and obvious but its there and growing.

America has its desperately poor people as well. A place like that probably costs $4000.00 a month in America. There are school teachers and doctors that don't make that kind of money in America.
