I suggest adding some flowering water lilies and aquatic plants to add natural shading from the sun. The aquatic plants also add color and beauty to the pond and act as a natural filter for the water and a source of oxygen for fish in case of power blackouts.

You should consider if you decide to do a restaurant there at the fish pond area to let the customer have the option to catch their own fish. And then restaurant cook it for them. Charge per lb.

boss tilapia is a cichlid so it will not mate with a koi of any kind.
