RIP Joan Benny. She passed away on June 10 2021. She was 87 years of age. What a beautiful and intelligent lady. Jack would have been very proud.

I like seeing how Betsy's hair changes over the years, keeps up with the times. Bess, not so much. The Benny routine was so much fun.

RINP Joan Benny my friend my mothers and my close friend Sandy Burns were best friends growing up in the hills above LA. We didn't know her father was George Burns until he came to Vineyard House our country Inn above the American River. I. Was deeply traumatized by the last photo of Sandy on the net before she died, she was this dashing and fabulous intellect who was a long blond slim beautiful woman who put on her leathers and raced around on her husband Steve Luckman's Harley! I kept off contacting but I found a photo of Sandy and here she was a big flabby woman with white hair in a wheelchair and the only way could recognize her was by the cleft in her chime.......

Betsy Palmer was a friend of Joan Crawford so she was probably a tougher cookie than you would suspect .

I get so sick and tired of people criticizing Betsy Palmer just because she was a loquacious person. She was a very sociable and well liked panelist and actress. I think that people who criticize her for being loquacious are jealous of her.

Loquacious means talkative. So what is wrong with that? It was her bubbly personality that kept her on this panal show for so long!

Garry Moore often uses the word "inferred" when the word "implied" is called for. The words do not mean the same thing.

I am surprised Mark Goodson and Bill Todman kept her on I've Got A Secret as long as she was, because she did not get along with Bill Cullen, Henry Morgan, Bess Myerson or Garry Moore.

@@nighthawk552001 I always take interviews with a grain of salt over the honesty people have during them. Having a connection to Show Business, I have met a lot of people. I found out, a long time ago, many of them will say nice things about other people in interviews. When people know there is not going to be an entire world possibly knowing what they are saying, coming to face-to-face, people will tell the truth about each other. Many of them will back-stab each other quickly. Bess Myerson said Betsy Palmer did not get along with anybody else involved in the show. Several of the men crewmen also said they would always have fights with Betsy Palmer, because she was telling them what to do. I found out, the more famous a person, the more apt or her she is to lie, in an interview, about how well the person gets along with co-stars. I have always relied on crewmen, because they will really tell the truth about how actors get along with each other, and most of the time, it is not very well. I learned a long time ago which actors will tell the truth in interviews and which ones will lie through their teeth. The more famous a person is, the more apt a person is to lie.

@@LKKruse And I'm taking everything you say with the same grain of salt. It's all just hearsay if you haven't actually met the person.

Don't criticize Betsy Palmer. She was just a loquacious person and she was a very sociable person. She was very friendly and well liked. To criticize her for being loquacious just shows that you're jealous of her.
