Suprising how many people say roach dont feed on the bottom, yet here you're catching them on the method as i do regularly! Wafters are looking good, hope they work out how you're hoping 🙂

Yes it’s a strange one this ! I never catch them on the method in open water, mostly in the margins , same with ide.

I catch roach on the method regular on the river, deep too around 12ft. Makes a refreshing change to see a new bait not being pushed in the 'carp' bracket, I think more focus should be aimed towards mixed coarse fishing. Nothing better than going for a session and having no idea what's gonna be dangling off the end of your line. The colour of your wafters I reckon are bang on, once they colour up in the water they seem to be a bit of a universal colour that blends well with the pellets and simulates a nicely punched chunk of meat, very lucky in respect of how the colour turned out imo. Corny yellow ones next for the big slabs? 😉 I'm taxing the name 'westys corny clegnuts' for the yellows 😂

went to my club waters this afternoon and caught 6 fish, 3 mirrors and 2 common with 1 F1. ranging from about 1 to 1.5 lbs up to 3 lb ish, all on westys wafters. well chuffed🤪
