In 2023, we set goals as a couple to run a ultra marathon and enter our first MTB race. This is the story of our Big Sky Biggie 2023. Thanks to @sydandmacky for inspiring us to try this one.

Good for you for stopping...you were willing to stop even if it meant falling behind for yourself. Thanks for being a good human.

Between Dave's narration and Christine's self talk, I feel like I've ridden a very picturesque Disney ride. Y'all are so inspiring!

Dave, thank you for stopping to help the other biker. So much respect for you guys. You don't realize how challenging bike riding is until you see it through your eyes.

Best race video I've ever seen. The filming, editing, self talk, trail interactions, wrap up. You made this fun for all of us watching on KZbin. Thank you so much.

There is a mental game in Christine's head during that ride. What I love is that you show the good, the bad and the ugly part of these events. Congratulations to you and your boys for your accomplishments

I turned on this video, not even 10 min into it. I told my husband, "Let's go for a bike ride". We rode 12 miles and came back home and finished watching your video. I'm proud of your kiddos for doing this race. You are amazing parents and inspiring positive people I love to watch. I love charities glasses she wears during the race. Would you mind sharing the brand or where I can get them. You and Christine are a power couple. Thank you for this awesome video!

Wowza, this is like a simulation…my anxiety was higher just watching…can’t even imagine doing it in real life! 😂The views were amazing but to Christine’s point, all I’d be able to think about is “stay on the bike” 😂

I seriously don't understand how people whiz down those hills along a narrow path and don't wipe out and fall down the ledge.
@kimdouglas860310 ай бұрын
You all make me want to do this so bad! Love Christines self talkes.
@Sjudit8410 ай бұрын
IDK how I would be able to go down these paths when they are sooooo close to the side, downhill....But you all did so well! Wow! Not bad for "IDK what I wanna do" at the beginning of the year HAHA You guys are so nice, I can't believe it. Dave helping the girl, everyone asking if the other person on the side is good, Christine complementing the woman on her shorts, everyone was so nice! I see you Tyler with that face! :'DDDDD Congrats! I might use this video for my indoor bike later today, we just got it a few weeks ago and I'm trying to find videos that really motivate me and suck me into that world so to say...

You know it’s serious when someone uses your formal first name…even if that someone is you 😅. Good job pushing through Dave and Christine. The views and commentary made for a beautifully relaxing video. 21:29

Subbed in first grade today and I read a story about murals. I described a mural that I had ridden past and how it made me feel. “You ride a bike?” I’m 72, one of my riding friends is 86. We ride for only an hour on rr trails.

Do you all ride as a family in these races or is it every person for themselves and then you wait on everybody at the finish line?
@FrugalFitDad10 ай бұрын
Train together, race at your own pace.

Christine is very Dory-esk, giving just keep swimming vibes. Those mountain edges would kill me what if you slipped off in the mud😢
